while waiting for glue to dry for various pieces, i decided to clean up he eg nu and rx78, and panel the banshee

banshee looks a lot better to me now, especially since it's also posed and i took off those dumb stumpy little wings off the backpack

still sucked worse than the rg zeta to build, not really sure why still

he will absolutely never, ever transform, i don't think it's remotely possible anymore at this point

i can't pose him any better than this due to the waist, so i need to wait for some more stands to arrive

and yeah the vfin is bad, because it's sandwiched in by the red emblem, and that thing is held on with hopes and prayers because it had broke. the waist fin on the right of the image (its left) is completely separated from the ball joint that holds everything up, it will likely fall off on its own, for some reason the glue just doesn't want to hold it

You could try sanding the bits you're gonna glue first; that can give the glue more surface area to "grab"
I bought the MG 2.0 Zeta literally a week before they announced the Ver. Ka.

i did, it's just those thin flat tab pieces. there's just not much to grab onto, i even tried adding some filler. nada. that may have made it worse, idk

the ver ka, aren't those usually way more complex than the usual grade? i hope they figured out how to make the frame less poop

Ver. Ka is just redesigns by Hajime Katoki but since the last MG Zeta was almost 20 years old, it's likely the new one will be a bit more advanced

i'm really hoping i get the notification from newtype, hlj, or gusa for to be able to buy the rx78 mega size

and i wonder when we'll get an rg or mg for gwitch suits

Probably we will get an announcement later this year on one or the other, but IIRC IBO didn't get an MG for a few years

i can't find any plain regular cheap wire dish/pot lid organizer

i want a tray holder, but all the ones i see online for cheap have everyone saying how garbage they are because they only hold on to the bottom edge of a tray which is not very stable.

so i figure a dish rack would work absolutely perfectly fine

can't fuckin find one though, only ones around here in town (i just got back from checking every single fucking store in town. from walmart to goodwill to a farm supply store to a beauty supply store. nada. only thing in town are whole ass in-sink units, and that's not going to work.

well that's annoying

i'm building age fx, and these instructions are very strange. it had me build the stand, then some weird like little spaceship, and then the head, and the arms.

the next step is attaching those to the torso, but it never actually had me build that yet, and the thing after that step is the feet.

i gotta figure out a different way to light this, the file i got has a mirrored finish on the side that doesn't have a file on it, so i'll be filing down some nubs and it'll just blast my fuckin eyes with light glares reflecting off of it
