I think it would depend on the type of job but I think most people would just to have more time to do other things.

There are some jobs for which it just wouldn't work, but overall, very yes. So, so many studies have found that productivity actually increases with shorter weeks (and that's 32-hour weeks, not 40 hours compressed into 4 days), and 3-day weekends are so much better than 2-day ones.

If it is 4 eight hour days, then yes. If 4 ten hour days, definitely not.

As long as its four 8-hour days (with wages adjusted of course) then hell fucking yes.

10-hour days though? F*** that. I did four 10s for a few months recently and I hated it. I wake up around 5:00 for work, so getting home around 6:30 when I have to go to bed around 9:00 made me feel like I had no time, despite having three days off. I felt trapped in a way. Like, if I needed to do anything, it HAD to be on one of those three specific days. Now I feel like I can do anything on any day.

Probably wouldve been better if my days off werent Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, but still.

Four ten-hour days is the best

I used to do 4 12 hour days and needed the rest of the week to recover. That wasn't good. I'd like 4 8 hours days with a decent wage ideally. If the wage doesn't change then I'm fine with a 5 8 hour day work week.

Already work one and definitely prefer it to the 5-day. The couple extra hours of work per day doesnt feel all that much different, but the 3-day weekend sure does.

It doesnt matter to me. I just need to get 80 hours every two weeks. How I want to split it up is up to me So, I never really worried about when I have work Haha.

15 hour days 4 days would be too much verses 12 hour 5 days.

I'd be happy to keep my 5 day work week and take a 25% pay increase

No. I depend on public transportation for a long commute, and working more hours per day means getting home later and having less time to relax after work.

I'm down for 4 8s or 4 10s any time. Less commuting = less time spent on work wothout being paid.

Less money spent on commuting, as well.

I have a 3 day work week. It's nice in some ways, but honestly I kind of miss the structure of a 5 day week. Would be into trying a 4 day.

I choose to work a 4-day schedule (10 hours/day). I love having every Friday off. Even better when the federal holiday falls on a Monday.

100%. Regardless of whether its still 40 hours or cut to 32 it saves time, gas money, and would net me more sleep overall too.
