Widsith is probably the best four star catalyst in the game and rivals some five stars. Which is, of course, why I haven't pulled a single one in two and a half years of playing this game.

Okay so I'm trying to put some kind of effort into making a freeze team here since I'm still all excited over getting Shenhe and she has no place in my Childe party.

Thinking of main DPS Kaeya/Chongyun/Shenhe/Xingqiu but with Kaeya is he better phys or cryo? I'm seeing different results Googling around.

Amusingly, my fisticuffs team is essentially a freeze team, which consisted of Heizou, Layla, Xingqiu and flex, which may turn into Faruzan since I recently pulled her.

Either is fine, but cryo will have a higher damage ceiling because the majority of his damage comes from his skill and burst, and also takes better advantage of Shenhe's kit.

I see, thank you. I'm leaning towards cryo Kaeya, too. Also seems better since he'd also have that crazy crit % from the Strayer set.

I miss Heizou a bit, he got replaced when I finally pulled Sucrose. He's really fun.

No Ayaka. My current cryo options are Chongyun, Diona, Kaeya, Layla, Mika, Qiqi, and Shenhe. I'll be chasing Kaveh and Kirara but if they don't hit my funds too hard, I'm thinking of going for Eula when she appears.

Speaking of luck, I'm in the soft-pity zone on the standard banner. If I were to stack rank five star pulls, I'd rate them as such:
RNGesus loves me: c1 Dehya, Lost Prayer
Why, thank you Hoyo!: c1 Jean, Skyward Atlas, Wolf's Gravestone
I can make that work: other Skyward weapons, c0 Tighnari, c1 Jean, Amos' Bow, PJWS
meh: c3 Keqing, c2 Mona, Aquila, c1 Diluc
I pulled a Qiqi: c1 Qiqi

I managed a "thank you Hoyo" and pulled another Jean. One step closer to c4. =)

At my new Genshin point of trying to build alternate teams, I wouldn't mind getting some decent weapons from Standard now instead of characters. Though I'm still not weapon-thirsty enough to pull on actual weapon banners.

Conversely, I'm rapidly approaching the point where I don't see any new characters I want and the only thing left is to power up my favorites, primarily Heizou, so I could really use a good catalyst since I still haven't pulled a single fucking Widsith yet.

I'll trade you one of my many Widsiths for one of your many Jeans.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. If there's one thing I'd pay for in this game, it would be an account merge option. Of course, there's absolutely no way in hell it would ever happen, but I made an alt about a year ago to play co-op with my son (who ended up not playing) and pulled a Skyward Atlas on it that my lol c6 Yanfei uses, but I'd rather have it on my main's Heizou.

I probably should, given that I could really use a better off-field dendro unit than Collei/DMC and Nahida is a big "fuck no", but I just don't know.

I'll roll for Kaveh but if I don't get him in the first 4 or 5 ten pulls I'll just skip

I'm rolling Baizhu, last new character I'm gonna care about in a while. Hopefully get c2, but doubt I'll get that lucky, only about 20k primos saved.

I'm rolling for Kaveh. I'm so excited for him <3 I'd like to get Baizhu too but if Kaveh comes early I'll stop.

Its just the latest in an ever-growing list of awful design choices since Sumeru released. If it were isolated, whatever, but Sumeru has gone out of its way to dampen exploration by padding time and locking stuff behind absurdly long and arbitrary sidequests.

I wonder if we'll see more of both the desert and jungle climates in Natlan. If it's accurate that the region will be based on South America.

Is Natlan supposed to be adjacent to Sumeru? Id imagine so if thats supposed to be the terrain.

Natlan is probably the nation I'm most interested in because we've never met a character/npc in-game that's from there

It is really mysterious. It's fun seeing occasional NPCs from Fontaine, like Julien. His little quest line was nice. I just wish they'd give the NPCs different clothing to wear, they're all wearing the same Fontaine red shirt and black vest and all that. The fashion scene there must be dire.

I only started playing a few months ago and my only 5*s are Tighnari and Dehya. I have about 50 pulls so far and my pity is guaranteed to be the banner since my last was a Tighnari duplicate

Should I go ahead and grind for Nilou or wait for Ganyu in the next set?

I'd personally go for Ganyu as she's pretty strong. But if your personal preference prefers one over the other then I'd always go that.

Focalors destroys her own team with her gravity burst, which is effectively corrosion that grants you some kind of massive buff. HP scaler. Yes it can kill you. Kuki and Zhongli will not save you. (I place my bets on huge HP buffs and autorevive constellation.)

Lyney is pyro charged shot dps, performance between Ganyu and Tighnari.

Lynette is basically his slave (Ganyu too?), anemo coordinated attacks on charged shots for swirlable elements, I think 10s duration/cd, 12 coordinated attacks max?
