And unless you KNOW the enemy is playing Leech, and you Cosmo, he has literally no counter.

Why not just let him disable the two leftmost cards in your hand? Or two random cards? Ffs.

They dont want to nerf Leech. Devs said he is needed to keep balance. Lets see if they backtrack on that.

He does serve a particular purpose against certain decks, but he's also incredibly unfun to play against. Anything that your opponent can do to affect cards in your hand is pretty dirty.

Scorpion, iceman, moon knight, Leech, they're all varying levels of annoying...

Scorpion and Leech are the most annoying ones because they affect every card, though. They punish you for having a slow start, either because of bad draws or a late-game deck type.

Honestly, scorpion is crazy good. He can be a massive power swing for only two energy, and he still gets 2 power for himself.

Scorpion can only cause a -7 at worst. Given how quickly it is played it is typically a -4 or so for total board presence.

Yeah, and that's for 2 energy, with 2 power already to his credit. Even if it's only a -4, that's 6 power worth of effects. That's sword master without the discard and for one energy cheaper, lol.

So would the hot fix be making it a 1 power maybe?

I don't know. Maybe make it like other cards in its class and it only affects one card. That would put it in line with other 2-cost cards that generally have 3 power in total.

He does serve a purpose, but that purpose is extremely busted. Everything should have a counter-play, something that you can throw in a deck that could be useful in more than one situation. For my Destroy deck, I can't just really slot in random cards like Infanaut or something.

Bleh, he needs to be tweaked and not an instant shut down of all decks in the game.

Yeah, that's why I think cards that do effects to things in your hand should be handled carefully. They don't really have counterplay, and something like Leech can literally obliterate your hand. Any time I get Leech'd with my Apocalypse deck I just retreat lol

Yeah, he got my Knull, my Death, and my Galactus on turn 3. I just retreat, fuck thar noise.

He saw that I was gonna play Sera because of Kang so I instead went for Polaris and Titania on the left to clog it up. I told him "I am confident" and he ended up retreating lol

Next turn, got MODOK. MODOK discarded my whole hand, then Lockjaw brought in Hela. Hela filled the board, I(for the first time ever) got the fast forward. And that's what my board looked like. Needless to say, I snapped immediately.

Was there a way he could have won? Because from what I can see, he was pretty damn well out of luck.

With that board not even Ultron would have been enough to win Morag... but I think a final-turn Shang Chi on Nidavellir would have done it. Guessing he didn't have one, lol

Also, how did he get that Odin out if the game wasn't over?

Viper gave him my Odin that I got from Helicarrier, I think. Lol. I didn't even realize that until just now.

I swear to God. For the past like...what, 30-40 games, I've had the absolute worst luck.

I'd have the IDEAL cards to play, but then dream dimension. I'd have a game winning play, then this dude has Doctor Doom in a destroy deck. The game will specifically target Hela and put her both in my opening hand, and as the first card it discards. I can have 7 cards in my hand, and it will specfically discard Hela.. It's like the devs are watching me play and tweaking the game JUST enough to make me lose entirely by random events.

Who tf thinks to play a Polaris turn 6 against a discard deck that already lost Morbius(I got another from Helicarrier)??? Why run Doom in destroy???

I have had a few days like this, too. It's hard to shake the feeling that there are some sinister algorithms at work, which try to put you on a losing streak every so often.

Neat, I pulled Jane Foster. I can make a neat Mister Negative deck with her I think.

Maybe I can finally play Arnim Zola.

Well, it could be extremely OP. Like, this is just a random scenario I'm making up in my head, but...

One thing I like to do in my Knull/Destroy deck, if I get Gamma Lab, is to basically put down as many cards as I can there, then Venom to basically buff up my Venom to an absurd degree and all all that power(24-36 usually) to my Knull.

Now, let's say I do just that.

Then someone tosses down Bear form Snowguard onto Gamma Labs alongside some more low cost cards.

Now I just lost my 24-36 power Venom in favor of a single 12 Hulk, plus, they now have 3-4 12 power Hulks I need to deal with.

Bird form can ignore stuff like Luke Cage and Death's Domain too.

At least, that's what I'm getting from all this.

It helps, but I still have fun with Thanos without Lockjaw in either of my decks. They're not exactly high tier, but I love them anyway.
