Yeah, and with the other benefits from going without spending energy, that's way too easy to achieve. Cyclops is already pumping -2 power per turn, Misty Knight is +1, Sunspot is +X per turn, and Hulk is +2 per turn. All that for ~1 energy left over at the end of each of those turns.

So by the end of the game each of those 1 energy is building up ~6 power per point of unspent energy, which counts for Hulk even before he's played. It's a lottttt of power.

I think Hulk needs a nerf to maybe +1 power per unspent turn, so he's stronger than the default Hulk but not ludicrously so. Cyclops is also very strong, but he's more situational and gets easily countered by Luke Cage.

Yeah, it feels a bit overwhelming. So much positive without much work. Meh. I'm sure they'll balance it but they need to vet these releases before they come out.

Reminds me that I need to work Hit Monkey and Kitty Pryde into my Thanos deck, because it was slowly turned into kind of a bounce deck with cards like Angela, Bishop, and Beast in it.

The High Evolutionary Jane Jaw deck going around is so fucking fun.

Just had a game where the left lane had Dracula get Giganto, middle had a 24 power Thor + Infinaut that Jubilee pulled and the right had a 20 power Hulk.

opponent snapped turn 1 too with just a normal patriot deck. Good 8 cube win

Yeah, it's a good feeling when you outsmart somebody like that. I've gotten a lot better at predicting Galactus, and I've been running rogue a lot more often as a hard counter to the eventual Knull play that follows lol

Its interesting when Cozy makes a video, his decks flood the game. Hell I dont care about my rank and float at rank 60 and I see so many people playing Janejaw after he released his video.

It's one of the best power swings you can get, lol. 16 power plus frees up a space plus occupies one of their spaces. I especially love doing it against Galactus, since it ruins his plan if you flip first.

I've never had that problem, but I always keep power saving on and run the lowest brightness I can comfortably see, so my phone very rarely gets hot at all.

The classic blunder. Which is another reason I don't run Morph despite his high potential lol

So here is a question, are there like bots plaything the game?

Quick example:

On turn 5 I am ahead on 2 out of the 3 locations, and on turn 6 my opponent plays Chavez on the lane they are ahead. So even if I didn'y do anything on turn 6, I still would have won.

This happens quite a bit, and I am curious if other people have had similar experiences.

Yes. Bots can also read what you do and react to it, they also have perfect draws and perfect scenarios. They'll just happen to have the perfect card to counter your deck, as well.

I had a bot that got Sakar and it played his Shang Chi, it's deck was just random cards. I had the absolutely PERFECT play, and the only way they would have won is if they had one card. Odin. The deck made no sense for an Odin, the deck didn't fit an Odin archetype. It made no sense to have an Odin for the deck...yet the bot had an Odin. And then Shang Chi proc'd and beat me.

It's honestly infuriating. Like the time the AI played a professor X on a spot where I put my Galactus, which prevented me from winning the game...despite the fact that nothing I had done prior would have made sense that to put down a professor X. In fact, in any other scenario, professor X would have lost them the game.

I hate bots for this very reason. It isn't fair in the slightest.

Edit: you can tell it's a bot when it has a holographic background but no effects. Which is impossible to have.

Never noticed that, will keep a look out. Had no idea it could get that bad though.

Not bad at all! I'd also recommend Carnage for the Galactus deck if you can find space, gives an easy quick and cheap destroy for Wolverine early on. Nova works way wonky with Galactus.

I was considering getting rid of Electro because he never really helps me all the much and I have been wanting to get Carnage in the deck too.

See, I always felt Electro is really good ONLY if you're running an early Galactus deck with Spidey, Wave, etc. If you're running a destroy Galactus deck, Electro is good just not AS good as it could be. Imho anyway.

Electro is way too easy for opponents to predict. While I know Odin is starting to be tech'd in a bunch to deal with Goblins, this deck operates well into the 60's.

Here's a deck I just threw together since I just got Orka and wanted to look into some interesting combos with Ghost Spider

The idea is to pressure your opponent into contesting a lane and then taking the other two lanes with high-power/low-cost cards and Orka.

I like the Lizard and Mojo pairing because they basically counteract each other. Then you could use Ghost Spider to bring in something like Ebony Maw or Vulture to fill up your side of the board on that lane, forcing the other player to deal with Lizard and Ebony Maw's power while empowering Mojo.

Nebula is great here because she can draw attention away from certain lanes.

Then you've got Hobgoblin, which can apply pressure on a Mojo lane if you don't have Ebony Maw there (then you could play something like Spectrum to give the squad a huge boost) OR you can play it on your Orka lane to essentially be up +24 there.

It feels like Sandman or Wave could be REALLY good in this deck, so I may try to slot one of them in.

Hell yeah. Thanos is one of my favorite cards. I love that I can throw him into any deck and have access to a bunch of 1-drops and card draw with utility. Reality, Space, and Time stones alone make him a worthwhile addition a lot of the time.

Usually need to work in a carnage or Venom to preserve board space, but he's great.

Turn 3 Wave, expecting that Galactus so PROFESSOR X BITCH!!!!

The Spider-Man nerf changes absolutely nothing about him besides shutting down a lane a bit later. Still dominant in Galactus decks. Utterly pointless nerf, and makes him unusable for Cerebro 3.

I feel like Spider-Man is one of those cards that is really problematic when played well, but not that strong when outside of his niche.

But God is he annoying in his niche lol

Hit monkey can be an absolute wildcard. Drop him on top of Wong + Mystyque if you reall need to win that lane. But he easily ends up at 6-8 power without trying, and up to 12 if all the cards were in your favour (turn 1 Bast, turn 2 Psykocke, turn 3 Negative). He kind of plays the same role here as he does in my Sera deck. A possible big hitter on your last turn.

Got 5100 tokens and I'm not sure if I should spend them on Thanos or Hit Monkey. When I finally hit 6000 obviously.

I'll say that Hit Monkey is going to eventually drop in series, and I don't think Thanos ever will. Do with that information what you like lol
