Beautiful game

Upper half of 3D Zelda games AKA the only ones that matter.

I probably haven't played enough Zelda games to have an informed opinion of where it might rank relative to the rest, but I definitely adore WW and always have.

Let's see...

LttP > BotW > OoT > LBW = TP > WW > SS > FSA > MM > LA > LoZ > OoS

6/12 for the ones I've played, I guess? Or 4/6 for the 3D ones only. Voted around the middle. Great game though.

Worst Zelda except in art style, where it's pretty clearly the best.

Best Zelda

Never played it. GC prices for it were high by the time I wanted to play it and never got a Wii U. Been waiting for Nintendo to get off their asses and port it to Switch already :(

Ridiculously good. 2nd only to MM for 3D Zeldas. Including 2D it's still easily in top half prob.

I only played the Wii U version with lots of QoL improvements though. And I played it after TP and SS, so it was super refreshing and exemplified what I wanted from 3D Zelda.

By number it's the middle but it makes the cutoff for a high tier. I really like 2D Zelda though.

I'd put it below most other 3D console Zelda games (obviously not SS, which sucks) just based on the Triforce hunt alone (fuck that incel con man Tingle). Everything before that is fantastic - plus it has probably the best set of mini-games and the animation is beautiful, which has made it age incredibly well.

I heard that the HD version improved that frustrating part, reducing the number of charts by half and putting the actual shards where the others were. Very needed improvement that, if it had been how the original was set up, would have probably put WW over MM and BotW for me.

Triforce hunt is the best part of a great game don't @ me.

Around the middle is goos

SS > WW > BotW

My weird top 3 Zelda list. But yeah, 10/10 game, particularly the HD version anyway. Prior to BotW, it had far and away the best exploration in a Zelda game. Now BotW usurps that title so easily, it loses that edge.

Wind Waker is the best looking Zelda and it has some very memorable moments but also some of the worst dungeons.

I actually think BotW has the best Zelda art style, with WW the easy second place there. Hell, I think BotW has one of my favorite art styles in a game ever.

WW was my second-favorite LoZ game at its time of release (nostalgia for the OG of the series is strong). LBW and BotW have surpassed both of them for me since then too.

Fourth place in an all-time great series twenty years after its original release ain't a bad place to be. I dunno that the series ever topped how cool it was to visit and bring color to Hyrule.
