Marijuana is legal and I saw some shows and did a crap ton of stuff at night. For me vegas is better at night. But that was enough Vegas for me. I'd rather go somewhere that has more to it than gambling, alcohol and a few shows. It was kind of a bitch to navigate there too. Ended up just paying taxis to take us anywhere. Lived just south of summerlin, there were a lot of really nice neighborhoods, tons of amazing restaurants in that area, ex: neighbors Cafe, pwky tavern, etc and alot of names I forgot. Tons of healthy /fitness food places. Red rock was a fun place to hang out, could go to one of those restaurants then just walk around. People were generally nice. There was always something to do, never a boring weekend where we couldn't figure out what to do. And driving to the strip was super easy and could park at one of the big casinos no problem. People don't park there, tourists use taxi or Uber. My main issue with living there was the lack of greenery. Ratchetrockon 03/21/23 4:03:56 PM #47:	yeah went on a few tdy over at nellis. vegas is right next to it. i'd say i spent about 3-4 months in total there. each tdy can last 2 weeks to a little more than a full month or so. most enjoyable part for me was visiting the national parks over there w/ the red hills. i remember climbing up a peak and it was amazing view =] we had to spider climb at some point and i was actually afraid one of us would fall and die. would really suck for the tech sergeant that was with us lol. --- I'm a Taurus.
