Yeah, I'll admit that I consume more sodium than I should, but I also drink a lot of water to try to mitigate any risk of kidney stones. But I guess it's not 100% foolproof.

Sometimes that shit is just genetic too. My family doesn't process calcium quite right, so it increases the odds of stones dramatically. When I worked a physical job and couldn't help but get dehydrated some, I'd get them yearly. Haven't had one in like a decade now though.

Same thing happened to me. Woke up with agonizing pain. Went to the ER. Pain goes away while I'm waiting to be seen. Doctor said kidney stone.

How old are you, if you don't mind? There's a few times I been peeing and had concerns of this. But it never turned into anything yet

Yep. It was really bad for a few hours, but now it seems to have subsided. Though the CAT scan still shows some blockage, I'm told.

Tbh that's worse.

Damn, went from bad to worse. I've experienced both of these things and both sucked. Kidney stone was worse because I couldn't even keep water down without puking from the pain and eventually had to put suppositories up my ass to keep from dehydrating. Then my kidney stone got stuck and I had to get it blasted. They put a stent in. It was awkward as fuck when I was conscious as they took it out and made small talk with me the whole time. I'm fine so far. They discharged me at around 2:30pm - 3pm, and prescribed me some medicine to help with the pain. They say it's a small, non-obstructive stone, but I'm still fearing the worst.

You shouldn't worry too much if it's non obstructive. Even if you require surgery, endourologic procedures are still pretty noble, safe and not related with much pain.

Yeah. It's just a matter of how good you are at blocking out anxiety when you know you did what you should of and it's out your hands for now. I slowly got worse at that over time myself

If it's very small like smaller than grain of sand small, then it will just hurt a bunch and you'll get over it.

The ones large enough to scratch up your urethra on the way out are the torturous ones.
