16 seeds are 2-150 all-time so this is a shocker no matter how you slice it

just about everybody thought Purdue was the weakest 1 seed but you still couldn't have expected this

I had Purdue losing to Memphis but I also had Arizona in the Final 4 so oops

That win was thrown out of the record books due to Purdue using an ineligible player; therefore the Boilermakers haven't won as a #1 seed in 35 years

I wouldn't discount FAU but yeah, looking good for Tennessee.

FAU is good, yeah, but as long as we can keep playing defense like that, we should be able to beat them

Tennessee has only been to one Elite Eight ever and never been to the Final Four, so it's an exciting prospect

With the media gushing over Duke, this definitely felt like a trap game. Not that I think either team let the media affect their play, but it's not inconceivable for Duke to be salivating over the potential deep run and looked over the only legitimate obstacle left in their way.

Speaking of March Madness upsets....this time in the NCAA Wrestling Champions. Spencer Lee was going for a 4th national championship, only done by like 4 or 5 other people ever, and he shockingly got pinned in the semifinals. May not be a FDU type of upset, but it was huge.

My UConn pick is gaining steam!

I always go with the strategy in my bracket contests of most likely team to win that nobody else will pick so all I need to do is pick the champion correct and I win.

In my work pool I am one of 2, so I am basically guaranteed $400 if Uconn wins the title. Not bad

As a UCONN fan, they definitely have the ability to win it, but they will probably forget how to play in at least one game.

Had Duke in the Elite 8 though so that hurts a bit. Had Kansas getting bounced by UConn in the Sweet 16 however (and gonig to the Final Four) so that's looking okay-ish so far.

Houston gave me a serious scare in that first half but they dominated the second half. bracket not totally dead yet
