Even after filling my Lockjaw location, Cerebro managed to be the last, indrawn card in my deckthis was so annoying.

Man, I really hate the Shuri > Big Unit > Taskmaster/Zola combo because it has so little counterplay and just doesn't really give a shit what your opponent is doing. Like you can shang chi but other than that there isn't much you can do after the Shuri comes down that I can think of? And they can do easily bluff because even if they don't have the taskmaster/zola do you really want to roll the dice on it.

Like give me some sort of dispel or something. I know enchantress exists but that doesn't work here. I mean something that reverts an opponents card back to it's default state before buffs

The card youre asking for exists and is almost universally considered the worst card in the game (Shadow King).

Here are some ways to beat the Shuri plays other than Shang Chi, but theres a weakness in common with all of them:

-play Valkyrie in the lane of the big drop, reducing its power to 3
-play Aero in the lane of the big drop so the Taskmaster takes the same location
-play Shadow King in the lane of the big drop, reducing it to its original power

this is why most of these decks preemptively play Cosmo wherever the big boy is going (it beats all of those ideas) and have stopped using Zola entirely

Valkyrie and Shadow King, but yeah they're not pool 3.

Doc Ock can interrupt the combo by pulling Taskmaster out of their hand before the full set up.

If you're winning in the other 2 lanes before Taskmaster, you can Aero him into the lane you're losing.

Leech also hits Taskmaster but has its own risks and doing it turn 5 only puts 3 power on your board in most cases.

Yeah, I have zero of those cards except Leech. What I had been doing is goose on 1 lane and storm on another but that doesn't matter when they Zola.

I think it's more frustrating because it's never a 1 loss retreat. They always snap before dropping Shuri.

You can use armor as a specific answer to stop Zola. Or cosmo.

aero is the best counter against shuri decks

sure you might lose to zola sometimes but it beats every other kind of shuri deck most of the time

When the bulk of the counters are cards you get from pool 3 its probably a bad sign. You could take til CL 4,000 to get some of those >_>

I have 15 collector reserves saved up, but looking at the rewards for this variant rush Im not sure if Id actually use any of the cards theyre variants of lol.

Save your gold for token Tuesday and focus on pool 3 cards in the shop. Will help speed things up at least.

But then how will you ever get Thanos, Galactus and Kang so you can join all the cool kids???

I Heimdalld and she moved to my middle location (where Heimdall played).

SHE MOVED BACK TO THE ENEMY SIDE AFTER MOVING

That's actually consistent with her other behavior. Her moving resolves after On Reveals. I have abused that often by playing her followed by Green Goblin the same turn on a 2 unit lane-- if they play one guy Goblin fills the last space and she won't move-- if they play no guys they fill both spots. It's pretty good.

The card could use some clarity on the timing though.

ETA on patch is next week. Balance adjustments, changes to token acquisition/token shop

I feel like he should be an ongoing rather than on reveal though

the 5 to 4 drop makes sense, it's just all the cards released in january + zabu, although they're almost all terrible

the 4 to 3 drop is....quite the set of cards...going to be exciting having to work towards those instead of getting big numbers of tokens again :/

Sauron to series 4 is nice considering I almost wanted him with tokens. Sucks that all the series 4 that are dropping are the ones I have.

Actually wouldn't mind getting Dazzler. She sucks but I feel like they might buff her to a decent card at some point. The idea is workable you just need to make the effect better.

Attuma can be used with Armor to keep it around right? If so seems ok enough for that at least. The other 2 dropping to series 3 I virtually never see

Yeah out of those I think Dazzler is the one I'd want the most. She really feels like she should be better for filling every lane though. I think you keep her a 4/4 and change her ability to add 4 or 5 to all lanes instead of buffing herself.

Maybe that's too OP but it's pretty comparable to Omega Red in power, just easier to setup.

I think you'd need to drop the buff to +3 though to put her closer to in line with Omega Red. Omega gives +8 power total she would give +12. If you made it +3 then she would give one more power over Omega Red with an easier trigger condition.

Oh huh. If you use Invisible Woman to hide cards and then play Destroyer, he destroys Invisible Woman but the unplayed cards are intact.

Yeah I used her to hide ongoings in my Patriot deck. Enchantress and Rogue will hit her but anything else in the lane is protected.

You can also play Patriot on turn 3 and then Mystique later in the same lane and she'll still copy Patriot as long as she comes right after him.

Invisible Woman's ability resolves after all the turns have ended, so Attuma doesn't need to check because there is no "end of turn" for him to look at.

My credit count bothers me so much. I have 270 right now but I don't know how to get it to be a 50 or 00 so I always end up just short of an upgrade.

Also with infinity splits you basically just have to keep rolling the dice until you get one you like? I got a green glimmer flare on She-Hulk on my second split which is cool but I dislike the foil background and I assume on the next split it's going to reroll both again?

Also booo I got to the end of my caches every 8 CL. Now it's every 12 (CL758) which is more than a days worth of credits so not even a box a day now.

Sounds like someone bought a fast upgrade! Just look for an upgrade that ends in 20 or 70 to balance it out I guess.

And yeah splits are random but the devs said they might add an option to customize a little more. So you might just unlock "green glimmer" for She-Hulk then you could apply it as an effect + whatever background you want and whatever border you want.

I don't anticipate that coming anytime soon though.

Ah maybe I did do a fast upgrade when I very first started playing.

Was able to find a fast upgrade in the store for +2 for 120 so just did that to fix it. The 20 wasn't going to be usable anyway and so it's basically the same as the normal 100 for +2.

Similarly Captain Marvel can move to his location at the end of the game with no problem. She can also move to Rickety Bridge at the end of the game without anything being destroyed

I've literally won 1 game in the last hour and lost everything else. Does not matter what deck I play. Just trying to do this fucking win 4 games daily quest and losing my mind.

He played Hobgoblin and Green Goblin in that lane and I knew exactly what he was doing. I could have Cosmoed Galactus but I decided to let him feed me Goblins. Satisfying win.

Aero with Rickety Bridge is too easy. Also even without that location you would've won because Aero when you're already winning is really hard to beat.

Ya but what made it extra satisfying was how telegraphed the deadpool death combo was

A 5k version of Gamora in my store. Which she looks cool (so does base Gamora though) but I can't imagine paying 5k tokens for a variant

No way, move is fun.

Also if you hate move that bad, cards like Magneto/Aero/Juggernaut that move your opponents cards count towards the daily.

Maybe I just dont have the best cards for it or like them much. The ones that move enemy cards seem way better imo
