when i said this 3 weeks ago everyone got mad and now it's the prevailing idea for a nerf :)

although i think in addition Space stone should also be changed such that either only it can be moved (You can move THIS card next turn) or if it worked like cloak so you could move something to that location, rather than from. it's way too strong with lockjaw as it is currently

i liked skullbone's idea for a shuri nerf from a few weeks ago - the next card you play in this lane has its power doubled.

also make it so taskmaster can't copy power from the graveyard. if you destroy the card taskmaster is trying to copy the on reveal effect should just not work

The stones start the game in your deck. Quinjet says cards that didn't start in your deck cost less.

Theyre not gonna make the stones start in your deck, they just like a week ago showed off the flashy animation of Thanos adding them to your deck that theyre adding in the next patch

I'm just saying they do functionally start in your deck regardless of the animation. There is no way to cancel the effect of Thanos adding them so functionally they start the game in there.

Just change it from start in your deck to drawn from.

I still disagree Quinjet is overpowered but it does have some dumb interactions that are fixed by that change (District X making your whole deck cost 1 less is silly for example)

You could also fix Thanos by targeting Lockjaw. The stones and Quinjet really aren't a huge problem without Lockjaw I think.

It's funny to think that Forge is a 2/1 that adds +2 power and Shuri is a 4/2 that doubles power.

Yeah Shuri is much more understatted compared to Forge but you can't really lower Shuri's cost without gutting her ability too.

No, leave Lockjaw alone.

So I don't play on the high end. Just super casual. But what is the deal with Leech? Everyone seems to be melting down over him as of late.

Lockjaw bringing out Leech early frustrates people because then every card in your hand loses their abilities

One obvious solution people talk about is nerfing Leechs ability to only last for one turn

My more unorthodox solution is to bring cards that WANT to be Leeched

Just pulled Magneto finally! I've got so many new cards recently, I should try some more decks.

For now I brought out the Zuri deck again since I paid a lot for her so might as well use her before the nerf.

Man, bounced around 44-48 all last night as I had previously posted. Then all today I bounced around 45-46 making zero progress. Login tonight and cruise from 46 to 55 in like an hour.

I wonder if I actually have a legit shot at getting to infinite even though I'm handicapped card wise by a lot. I had set a goal of at least 60 for this season but possibly 70. Now after going 20 > 55 so quickly I think 70 may be selling myself short. Although it's obviously going to get harder and harder the higher I climb.

Its taking forever for me to even hit tier 20 now for some reason.

May be the wrong move but think I'm gonna unpin Shuri. Some sort of change is coming and I'm missing so many cards that something more useful may come along since I'm missing the other parts of Shuri anyway (except Taskmaster). I don't really want to play that deck either

Like Daredevil, Death or Captain Marvel would probably increase my win percentage a decent amount since my deck is about controlling locations

Just lost 8 cubes on worldship because I can't fucking count turns. He had a full location and I had 2 slots left. I nonchalantly drop a 5 cost She-Hulk on T6 thinking it's turn 5 and I can drop the winning card next turn.

This 5 rank bonus is hard to understate. It literally HALVES the amount of cubes you need to get to infinite. The effort to get from 10-20 is about the same as getting up to 45.

I have been complaining about this 30+ rank drop every season and this does solve it pretty well. The 30 rank drop is now more like 15 effectively, and you get a big satisfaction of climbing dozens of ranks quickly.

I do think it will devalue the higher ranks. Like getting to 70 is not nearly as big a deal anymore. But that's ok because even the game devalues it, you get like 400 creds and that's it.

I totally didn't even mean to run my Wong deck there, I just forgot to switch and just ran with it. Lol

I've also been thinking about this concept of a Hero deck and a Villain deck.

The Villain has some sort of evil combo they're trying to hit. Moon Dino, Shuri Skull, Wong Exodia, Lockjaw Leech. They have 1 really clear gameplan and maybe 1 decent backup. Very draw dependent. Wins are more one note and predictable.

The Hero on the other hand is trying to disrupt the plan. They have tech cards, movers, and other disrupters like Sandman. Leaning more towards good cards that have a lot of flexibility. Each win is more hard fought and unique.

Hero vs Hero is fun, Hero vs Villain is really fun, but Villain vs Villain sucks. Villain vs Hero can also suck if they have that one tech that blocks you. So I really just want to play my Hero deck all the time. All the Villain ones I've tried are just meh. But I appreciate that others play them because it makes my game more fun

Even if they just gave her the greedy AI of the stupid bots, it would be better than what she did there since they at least avoid dark dimension and certain areas.

Also I don't care what they say about matchmaking but there's definitely something fishy. I've been playing for a few hours with no movement on the ladder. Decided to swap in professor X. I then immediately ran into 2 decks in a row than also ran Prof X despite not running into him a single time earlier in the day.

I noticed bots don't know how to play Quantum Tunnel at all either. One played Green Goblin on his side 3 time and it never worked.

Galacturd snapped AFTER I played White Queen. I played a Hulk left on turn 4 after his Wave and he Shang'd it so he was prob feeling good. But still it's obvious I would've won.

Unless I guess he had another 6 cost in his hand?

High level bot decks get to choose their moves after you play your cards, and I think they run simulations of possible moves and just pick whichever one puts them in a win state (or as close as possible to one) for that turn, even if its a poor strategic move in the long run

Scarlet Witch onto Dark Dimension doesn't change the location after reveal on the last turn? Like I get it not triggering on initial placement but it should on reveal? Other on reveals still trigger.

Also guessing this guy didn't realize his taskmaster would copy his dark dimension reveal card and not the devil dino

When you get District X do both people get identical cards. Because I just lost an 8 cuber and we had incredibly similar cards which I did not think would be the case otherwise I'd have never snapped.

Didn't fancy gambling 8 cubes to see the result. If Hela is played and resurrects all the discarded cards then on a later turn Odin retriggers her, does she revive the same discarded cards again? Or can they not be resurrected since they already have been?

If they resurrect again even though they are already on the board, I lose. If they don't because they have already been pulled from the discard pile then I win (probably). But I really didn't want to gamble 8 cubes to find out
