Apparently some of her fans said she's a Japanese girl who became a Vtuber because she was being bullied in real life. Now she got bullied online because of even mentioning that she might play it.

Edit: She's been forced to graduate which means she'll be leaving her company and all of her shit is being closed down.

A general rule of thumb is that Reddit allows for basically everything that 4Chan does but might remove something if it hits ad revenue. Even then it's a lazy system where they only do the bare minimum. A good example of this is when The_Donald got in hot water for setting up a terrorist attack so much that it got in the news, and when that got booted they just moved over to AskThe_Donald and continued as if nothing happened.

GamingCircleJerk legit needs to be shut down but it won't be because if you're on their side of things you're allowed to freely harass and dox anyone seen as "the enemy". It's literally a hate sub and a hub for launching harassment and bullying campaigns now.

Also a little reminder, the moderator on that sub that started the whole ban on Hogwart's Legacy shit was exposed for supporting the World Cup in Qatar because they were a soccer fan while at the same time chastising people that buying the game would directly support Anti-Trans groups.

Didn't say you did, just making it clear that it doesn't make what others do alright and it's pretty clear where the majority of the harassment is coming from.

there are always people that refuse to believe that their side is doing anything wrong. remember gamergate where every time a journalist or dev posted the death threads they were getting people would wheel out pepe sylvia corkboards to try and prove that actually they were sending them to themselves?

Nah, you weren't the only guy to blame 4chin for the harassment, you were just the most recent one and worded it slightly different. And thanks to how threads on CE get deleted, I can't post proof of the other times people were blaming 4chan instead of members of the trans community going way too far. Once again, for the record, the only localizer who blocked me on Twitter was someone I never interacted with, because blockchains exist. The localizer I *did* interact with did not block me, despite having issues with my apparent criticism of how he handled the censorship of one release, so you cant even call that harassment.
