Just played against a destroy deck. They had extremely similar plays to me, the only difference being he had one card literally NO ONE would put in a destroy deck that won it for him.

It was Klaw.

Literally NO ONE puts Klaw in a destroy deck because he makes absolutely no sense. He legitimately only won because he had Klaw in a destroy deck. What the fuck, man?

Its a good idea to mix things up sometimes so ppl get caught off guard thinking you play cookie cutter decks.

Fair but...like, there's no synergy there. If you destroy Klaw, you lose his ongoing. I can get playing something that can benefit from that but...come on.

So you can't use a Mystique to copy the ability of Rogue? Someone was playing a Patriot deck, used Patriot and then their own Mystique. I used Rogue to steal the Mystique ability, then tried to use my Mystique to, ideally, copy the ability of Rogue to steal ongoing, to steal that from the opposing Patriot?

Didn't work.

I assume that lane they dont play cards to get destroyed there, but still Klaw comes out at a time where you want to destroy stuff with Venom so you can Zola him next turn. Or play Taskmaster. Doesnt seem worth it.

my opponent used Hobgoblin on me and then I used Odin which flipped Hobgoblin on my opponent. Felt good

Someone once hit me with a hobgoblin and I Arnim Zola'd two back at him that was great.

Been having some good results with this Discard deck since adding Dracula:

MODOK, Dracula, Morbius and Apocalypse just play really nice together. Build up Apocalypse as usual while also fueling Morbius. Then MODOK comes in at Turn 5 and clears out my entire hand, usually only leaving behind Swarms, Apocalypse and America (while also fueling Morbius). I usually save Swarm for Turn 6 to give myself some additional power at locations where it might be needed. If I have enough spots open, I can place Swarms and America Chavez where needed while Dracula gets the power boost from Apocalypse OR I can just play Apocalypse where necessary.

Where Sunspot works great with this is that I can also just skip Turn 6 altogether. I can have Dracula take on Apocalypse's power level and Sunspot still gets a +6 (or however much energy I have left).

If anything, I think the weak link here is Wolverine. He works great as an added power boost if he gets discarded, but I often find he takes up a spot on locations where I really don't want to play him. But he is nice as an extra power boost on Turn 5, especially if the RNG gets him onto a location I otherwise can't take.

I absolutely love Arnim Zola. He's the addition that took my Jubilee deck from ~40s to ~70s, with a lot of potential to climb higher if I played more often. He's incredibly good for certain deck types. Cloning Venom can be huge. Even dropping a sneaky Death/Zola on turn 6 could be amazing.

Wait what, Hela cant bring back a discarded Destoyer? Got it in that field where you get a 6cost card from filling out, then discarded it. I had Hela on last turn but it dissnt bring it back.

The best part was when he played Yondu on Bar Sinister, he only got rid of my non-essential cards, actually making it much easier for me to get what I needed

I've gotten a couple. Got Black Panther after he went to Pool 4, and got Shuri while she was still Pool 5. She-Hulk, too. And a couple others I can't remember off the top of my head.

It's rare, but it does happen.

There's a decent chunk of the community that says Yondu is a bad card for exactly that reason, lol. He can snipe an essential card, but more often than not he just cuts out filler and works almost like card draw for the opponent.
