I've been stabbed before and it was whatever.
I lived at least.

I've never been shot, but I've been around guns and around shootings.

To this day I'd rather be stabbed.

Know someone who was shot and didn't even realise for some weird ass reason. I'd rather be shot and not realise than stabbed and in agony.

In your scenario being shot is worse.
You are much more likely to die or have serious lasting effects the longer you go untreated.
Pain tells you "fix this NOW".

Throat or heart are pretty easy to slice and cause death within 1-2 seconds. Well, heart if it's intentional, at least.

You can die instantly from a shot to the right place. Don't think that applies to stabbing

Thats why I would pick shot. Suffering in agony if a stabbing puncture hits one of your vital organs until you die sounds miserable

Getting shot is just being stabbed by bullets.

I think a slow death to a stabbing is much worse. I feel a slow death due to a gunshot, you'd eventually just pass out or something, before dying. But as far as surviving, I'd rather survive a stabbing than a gunshot.

Stabbed more than once?

I feel like the type of weapon/bullet and where exactly you get punctured makes th e biggest difference. Like getting shot in a relatively harmless area with no vital organs like the buttocks by a small caliber round is way better than getting ran through the heart with a spear.
