Farmed up Slime God, and prepared my world for Hardmode and killed the WoF a few times. So next time I play im gonna begin the early Hardmode grind.

Okay, WTF? So you know that I've been having issues with enemies never spawning? Now that I'm in Hardmode, I'm having the exact opposite issue. There are too many enemies. Like 50+ at any given time. Making farming sessions easy and quick though. But, fr WTF.

Got Mechanical bosses, Cryogen, Aquatic Scurge and Brimstone Waifu on farm.

Also, seeing as how this is really a Minecraft thread, the April Fools Minecraft snapshot is pretty great. They added a moon dimension. As a joke. And that's only part of it.

Jesus, Plantera is HARD. I had an easier time using the yoyo. It's like the gas clouds and bouncing spike balls are like reading my trajectory and purposefully getting in the way or something. every single time I circle to the bottom of the arena, a spike ball hits me without fail.

Wow this Minecraft snapshot is nuts. I really really hope some of these features are actually planned for vanilla. There are vertical slabs, piston moveable tile entities(chests and furnaces and the like!) blocks can be broken by 1/8th cubes. New spleaf block that breaks when you stand on it. NBT code blocks. You can turn yourself into other mobs. There are growing and shrinking potions. You can change the environment colors like leaves, water, sky, fog, etc.. You can customize piston push limit.

dunno if you noticed, but plantera (and later polterghast) get immensely faster and more deadly in open spaces

i made the latter way too hard by clearing out a room to fight in....

Got Plantera and Calamitas Clone on farm. Calamitas Clone was a pretty fun fight.

Oh yeah, what build were you running again? I went pure summoner, which is actually super viable in calamity

Took them long enough. Partial blocks have been available with mods for like ten years.

Took me like 20 attempts but I killed Anahita and Leviathan. Mostly the problem was even with sunflowers and zen potions, I was getting hordes of random mob spawns like harpies and werewolves so I'd bump into crap I wasn't looking for and would get stunlocked and killed. Got both magic weapons from the loot bag!

And Astrum Aureus was WAY easier lol got it on my second try.

Started watching Rittos summoner Death Mode series. This looks hard. But also he isnt using whips, just pure summon damage.

The last super big calamity update was before whips, so most are an afterthought right now. Calamity doesn't add any new whips and only a few (like some fire whip) are actually worth using. Calamity does add some weapons that scale with summon damage that don't use summon slots, which you use a lot in the endgame, and before that you use stuff that just generally debuffs your enemy like the golden gun or lunic eye (both are classless, so you don't lose damage by mainhanding them).

Oh I didnt realize how recent whips are, that makes sense.

Exactly how hard is the game? I bought it years ago but never really played much since I sucked.

Terraria or Minecraft? Terraria is not that hard, but Im playing a rebalance and content mod that adds tons of new, hard bosses, and Im having a ton of fun with it.

Yeah Terraria is a good time. When you start out youre pretty weak, but by the end of the game youre flying around shooting space lasers at Cthulhu

Been farming weapons before Moon Lord. Just fought Astrum Deus. God DAMN that fight is awesome.

Yeah farmed Plaguebringer, Ravager, Astrum Deus, Fishron, events, and Moon Lord. So next time I play Im going to begin the post Moon Lord grind :D

Took a while but got the Profaned Guardians. Got Dragonfolly on farm. Providence is hard af :0

I think Providence actually got reworked since I last played, fun fight and good music. Man you're making me wanna replay Calamity lol

The part where she stands still and spams the little star particles and sets you on fire if you get too far away is destroying me

I think I've died to Providence maybe 60 times at this point. And I keep getting really close too, then something stupid happens like I bump into those fire puddles on the ground that aren't animated and are the exact same shade of yellow as the background so they're impossible to see, or she'll fly REALLY far away and go into a bullet hell phase and I'll die to the distance DoT trying to get closer.

Do you have the Relic of Deliverance? It's pretty insane for mobility, really good for that fight in particular to keep up with Providence. Doubly so for summoner since you retain full DPS, but it's useful everywhere for dodging and covering long distances fast

Got some Uelibloom, and made some new weapons and armor and now I'm farming her like it aint no thing x_x

for me, when I got Providence's wings, it suddenly became so much easier to beat Providence

Just killed and farmed Ceaseless Void, Storm Weaver and Signus. Tried Polterghast a few times and I got below 50% but he's hard to dodge.

Ayy got Polterghast. Really not that bad once you get the pattern down. Feels way less random and chaotic than say Signus or Providence. Which I know Providence does the exact same things in the exact same order, it's just the location of the bullets and mechanics just feels largely inconsistent and can be in places that are extremely inconvenient with no rhyme or reason.

Yeah that was a much easier boss to farm than some of the more recent ones I fought lol

No Snapshot today, next Snapshot release is scheduled for Thursday next week. Maybe they have something big planned that wasnt ready yet? :V Also well probably be finding out the 1.20 release date soon. Gonna guess first week of June

Been over a month since I played Minecraft and I'm kinda itching to get back into it, but there's kinda really nothing for me to do until 1.20. >_> And 1.20 probably won't be out for like a month and a half. But also around that time will be Tears of the Kingdom, FFXIV 6.4, and FFXVI releasing. This is kind of a crazy year for game releases and updates.

Decided to login to Minecraft. Thought I would do some afk farming while I'm busy with other stuff. So I went to my Slime farm this morning, turned my monitor off and walked away. Came back 7 hours later and the game was paused, and I only got like 70 slime balls. :| no idea why the game was paused, I did not touch my computer at all in that time, and I definitely didn't pause it when I walked away, cus I would have had 0 slime balls and I checked to see if any were in there when I got there. Oh well.

Just spent the last few hours filling out some unfinished stuff in my base, and did some resource gathering. I'm debating whether or not I want to stick with this base in 1.20, or fly like 30k blocks away and set up a new base. I might do that, but also use my current base for extra storage or something.

No snapshot last week, and the snapshot this week just changed a spelling error. :| Also even though "sherds" is the correct word, people are upset at the change. lol I was hoping we would get a glimpse of this new boss they've been teasing, or more ambiance for certain biomes like they talked about last week.

Well, we'll probably get a Minecraft Monthly soon and they'll hopefully announce the 1.20 release date.

This is kind of a crazy year for game releases and updates.

It really is. Most years, there are only really 2-3 games that I want badly enough to even consider grabbing at full price, but this year there's Octopath 2, MMBN Collection, TotK, the Xenoblade 3 DLC, Katamari 2 remake, Baten Kaitos remake, Fantasy Life... I'm probably forgetting some, but it's kind of overwhelming.

Yep, super hyped for that. Fantasy Life is one of those games hardly anyone else seems to remember, but I loved it and I'm really looking forward to the sequel. It did actually have another sequel a while back that I only learned about relatively recently, but it was a F2P mobile gacha game. I haven't tried it myself (I didn't have space on my phone when I thought to check it out), but I can't say I'm overly optimistic. With a full sequel coming in the near future, I'm content to just wait for that.

I've never played Fantasy Life, but yeah everyone always says it was really good.
