I was shocked when I saw the poll today that said most people were celebrating or with friends or family. I could celebrate it with family, but I just didn't feel the need. Christmas just ended, so I'm celebrated out. I mean, I still plan to visit my parents on New Year's Day, but I didn't realize New Year's Eve mattered so much to people. I'm spending it watching anime and drinking shots of Jagermeister, which is what I usually do on the weekends. I'll go to bed at 9:30 like I always do because I have a 9-5 job and a sensitive sleep schedule. Am I really that weird? --- Scientists in Norway believed that they could improve the rate that leeches suck blood by dipping them in beer beforehand.
