I actually regret not making an account earlier and getting all the free stuff I could have back then. The store and launcher itself isn't that good, and I like Steam better, but hey, they give away tons of free games and their sales are great. I know people don't like Epic, but there's some good things about them. Their support for small developers is neat, and it's always better to have SOME competition instead of just having one online store that has all the customer share... --- Okay, I rolled a 14. But When Hitman 3 came out on Steam, after being a Epic exclusive for a full year, I questioned my Steam loyalty. You see, Hitman 3 launched on Steam for a full price. And that was after a year that it was in Epic and had plenty of sales. In the holiday sale, the game was 50% off, and together with the Epic Copuon, you could get the base game for $20. So to see people who prefered to wait another month for the Steam release only to need to buy it for full price it was just...disgusting. When Epic got started selling games, nobody had any purchased games on there. It was a whole launcher you had to install and run for the ~1 game you wanted to play. Now anyone who's been collecting free games has a lot of games on there. Some of us are committed to not buying from them still, but it's definitely eased others into it.
