So far everything I cooked other than chicken I like more in the oven or frying it in oil.

The Air Fryer, since its just a convection oven, it "crisps" things by moving high heat. So its "crispy/crunchy" by drying it out. I can't really describe the texture, but if you twisted my arm I would say its like toasting(or pan frying) bread vs stale bread. The toasted bread is crispy, but it still has moisture and feels fresh.

That being said, I still very much like it with skin on chicken. And still use it about 5 times a week.

If it makes things crispy, that's more of an argument against it being good for chicken skin for me.

Hate it.

Like bacon, chicken skin should be slightly chewy and flavorful, not crispy and brittle.

I like it for frozen taquitos, frozen onion rings and buffalo wings. Most pre-fried frozen items are better in the air fryer I think, except for frozen fries. It works great for reheating leftover fries, something I normally would never have kept before.

I can see that. But for bacon it depends on the thickness for me. If it's on the thin side I like crispy bacon, but if it's thick, I like it with a little crisp on the edges and tender on the inside.

I think I like chicken skin crispy on the outside, with some juiciness on the inside. Bacon just depends. I like crispy quite a bit. But not as crispy can work. It just depends on how they make it. When I get stuff from the Dining Facility on base, its always a dice roll. Haha.

For things like burgers, it has to be crispy. I hate when the bacon is soft and you have to put more effort into biting through it.

I like for stuff like breaded chicken, fries, hashbrowns, fried cheese, pizza rolls, etc.

Nice to see another one that uses cheese curds for it. It goes awesome in the air fryer. I like it with marinara sauce.
