A cursory scan says 12-3 was a bad record this week.

It's actually worse than going 9-7 last week. I didn't actually realize how damaging having just 3 losses was until I put a glance in.

yeah the favorites crushed it this week, so it was a bad week to pick several upsets

I kinda regretted my pick selection almost immediately after I posted them but I don't like changing picks once they're in

Yep. The vast majority of people have only 1 or 2 losses. Anyone with even 4 this week is taking catastrophic damage.

The 49ers are expected not to make a run at Baker Mayfield, and to essentially start Brock Purdy some more and see if they've got anything in him.

Oh man, that sounds bad for me. I don't know how many I actually got but I distinctly remember watching games and thinking I got a lot wrong. Felt like I was on the wrong side of every coin flip. I think I got at least 5 wrong unless I'm misremembering my picks (Bears, Chargers, Chiefs, Falcons, tie game)

They did have the Vikings dead to rights the first time they faced them this season and they're a better team now

The spread moved again. The Lions are more favored now than they were last night.

Oh and the 3 losses thing completely ignored the existence of the tie since it didn't matter it existed.

Half the league has had the Vikings dead to rights and found some special way to choke to them.

They're really close to being the 5-win team themselves!

Because the Brock Purdy led 49ers just beat the Dolphins by 16 and the Dolphins are way better than the Bucs.

That was more about SF's defense shutting Miami down.

Brock Purdy isn't going to be effective as QB half the time, especially once teams get film on his tendencies. He was the last pick of the draft for a reason.

Shanahan believes he can win with anyone, but he also has a losing record when Jimmy G isn't the starter.

"Effective as QB half the time" is all they need to beat the Bucs by double digits.

All they need him to do is complete 50% of his passes and not get picked off 3-5 times and they'll be ok.

(On this note, SF is a fantastic level 6 pick next week if I were still on that level)

their offense has games that are just as crappy as TB's with Jimmy G, too, just not every week

Probably to prevent the 49ers from getting him.

Schefter just now saying that Jimmy G won't need surgery so instead of out for the season it's 7-8 weeks and it's possible he could come back during the playoffs if the 49ers are still alive.

49ers had no interest right now. They'd already decided Purdy is their QB. The Rams did it because now Wolford is injured too and they have absolutely nothing. He's probably starting for them in TWO DAYS.

Speaking of the 49ers, Jimmy G could potentially return during the playoffs if the 49ers get far enough.

OBJ had a physical with the Cowboys, and the belief is he won't be ready to play until the 2023 season.

It was debatable how good he could be this year anyway, so it's probably better if he waits until next season.

Von Miller is officially out for the season now.

Well, it was a waiver claim, so odds are pretty high that he'd end up on a bad team with zero talent. If he was lucky he'd have fallen to the 49ers or Ravens because of their injuries, but I'd argue that the Ravens are a bad team with zero talent on offense, so even that wouldn't help.

I watched a little ESPN while eating earlier and some guy was saying the Ravens are going to the Super Bowl.

I would like to know what stuff he's on because it's gotta be pretty good~
