I was told all pallbearers had decided to wear all black suits. So fuck a few hours feeling dysphoric, it's a family mourning event. Not a big deal, but my brother and I were the only ones to show up in suits at all. And I am the only one wearing all black. One of the other pallbearers is wearing a hoodie and another a casual pull over sweater.

Even the one that told everyone to wear suits is only wearing a black dress shirt over jeans and no tie.

Anyway, God bless grandma. Gonna miss you.

Bit of both. At the funeral I'm thrown into the role of grandson and given the choice I would rather have worn a loose dress shirt rather than a fitted dress shirt, jacket, vest, and tie.

Thank you. It's still about an hour until the services start and I'm making frequent trips to the cry room and the mess hall to avoid all the strangers who seemed to be informed on all the ongoings of my public life.
