New units look pretty good at first glance, but its hard to say for sure given the novel of text that is their passives.

Krillin seems like a great tank.

They do seem good. Goku got bonkers stuff compared to Piccolo though. Theyll return on the WWC so Im not sure Ill bother to summon. Kale is more hype for me lol

Well it helps the other units brought the value of the new banners down a ton.

The banners are out. We get a ticket summon for a different banner, but wont have all the tickets right away as usual.

Team Bardock ESBR pretty tough. Had to use PHY Fasha as a leader because no DFE TEQ Bardock and DFE AGL Bardock isnt on Team Bardock. Wouldnt have been able to win without Nurse Chichi item and Stun RNG

There are missions you can only complete locked behind buying the key that reward a nice chunk of stones. People are fair to complain about this scummy move imo

Yeah and there are stones in the shop that are locked behind buying them too. The marketing was bad to show everyone missions that they can't complete without paying but it's no different than charging for stones.

You don't open the shop every time there's a deal and get upset at all of the stones you're missing compared to whales. Just because these are missions now people are looking at them upset that they have to buy?

The bigger issue is this is the first theyve included a wave of mission stones you can only get by paying them money and could make a habit of it going forward. Its not really the same as whales buying stones and it being unfair to F2P imo. If it was 1-2 stones nobody would care, but they locked a lot behind a paywall

If this stage didn't have 2 free attempts for F2P then nobody would care. There's already the Kai link level stage you can only access by buying the special paid key so I don't see this as being any different.

They just added some missions to force people who paid to log into the game for 2 weeks.

So the real scummy tactic is that you could buy the keys, forget to do the missions and lose out on the stones. But that was already in the game too with the paid subscription if you forget to login for a day.

So yeah it's a bummer there are now "missions" that you need to pay to do but again it's just more complicated buying stones.

The Kai LL version didnt have ANY stone rewards behind it, but you can bet when it returns it likely will now.

All of the Kai LL packs give you keys to access the event and stones.

I never saw anyone say those had stone missions? I know buying it gives you stones and keys for the mission, but I dont ever recall there being 30-50 stones locked behind buying that

They don't have stone missions, but there are still stones locked behind buying the packs (you know, the same thing happening with these Whis Keys).

People are just getting upset about the semantics of "locked stones behind paywall" versus "locked stones behind paywall + missions"

It's the exact same!

Except this new Whis pack gives you 50 stones for $10 compared to the Kai LL guidance which gives you 30 stones for $12. It's just now you have to do a mission every day to get the stones you bought instead of getting them immediately with the Kai LL packs.

I would simply get a raise and make more money so I could buy the new bundles without issue
