Rang the doorbell, asked them to turn it down. So they do know what I look like (at least two of them do, I'm not sure how many more live there). However, when I left, I did not distinctly go left or right immediately back to my own front door. We are in a row of townhomes, they are in the middle unit. So they know what I look like, but they don't know if I'm on the right or left of them. They also have no way of knowing if I called the cops. Never heard another person speak a single word unless they were outside. Been here since end of july. I can hear pipes and water running occasionally thru the walls but its normal. And sometimes I think people drop something so I hear that but never heard anything annoying like people talking constantly or musing blasting etc. plus my two neighbors are cool its a studio but is quite spacious. I have a kitchen with a small alcove and dining table a big corner bathroom and the actual studio part fits a queen sized bed, my bench press with weights, my 50 tv and still has a lot of space to walk. Biggest place Ive ever lived and I just turned 34 lol I left my old place cuz the other person that rented there was a fucking idiot. I was technically separate area from them, but couldnt stand them. They ended up living there and then this chick ended up moving there with them that smoked weed outside every night (Im not against smoking cuz I smoke myself, just not much anymore), it was summer so my window was always open and it annoyed the shit out of me cuz it would travel up to my spot. They would talk on their phone outside day and night time (her voice was nails on a chalkboard annoying and loud) and have people outside sitting outside my window at 2-3 am talking super loud. eventually I lost my shit and texted my landlord about it. I decided not to say anything to them because I would have exploded. Also only two of them actually know what I look like. There are at least five unique people I've seen there on a regular basis. I'm also fairly generic-looking. 5'8'' white guy in the twin cities with no colored hair or tattoos or unique identifiers. There are a lot of us like that! As you said -- unfathomable is a little strong, but it's not impossible.
