SQQQ is fucking me good right now. I was up like $600 this morning now I'm down like $400. I literally lost a grand in a couple of hours by holding.

Have to imagine this rally is just noise though. The larger trend will see markets drop a lot further.

I just put in $600 when it was at 61 then it dropped to 59.

But yes I'm on board with you guys, this is just a bear rally, its going to flip again at some point.

Since you seem pretty interested in all this stuff now, Id recommend checking out The Intelligent Investor on audiobook. Its dry as hell, but I found a lot of it super fascinating and relevant.

In particular, pay close attention to the chapter on Mr Market. It certainly helped turn me into a buy-and-hold investor and got me pretty comfortable not trying to play off any major short term day-or-swing trades, and focus mostly on buying on the cheap and just holding tight forever. After you ride enough of the painful downs, you build character and can learn to pretty much hold through anything. Best decision I ever made when getting into this.

And honestly I think I got too emotional about IMMX. Everything seems good but the big negative is that their trial was supposed to end this december after recruiting 70 patients. The last update said they've only had 15 patients and blamed covid for low recruitment. Either way this is an issue and will cause a delay and delays mean losses in the meantime. The emotional part is...in '17 I put in 200 dollars into NVAX. it was one of the first stocks I owned. I did research, things seemed good. I forgot about it, checked it 1.5 years later, lost a bunch of money on it, so I said fuck stocks, I'm selling and getting out. Fast forward to covid and the price peaked at almost 1500% of what I initially put in. That $200 could've turned to $30k.

Were seeing q3 reports coming in and they're going to be ugly, market will react.

Another thing I considered is the fact that near years end people will dump their stocks for tax loss harvesting, which should again affect stocks.

I actually bought that book and its on my list to read. I'm finishing up some others right now then I'll get to it.

But honestly right now 95% of my money is going towards down payment saving for a house. I dropped a few grand into my Robinhood account just to play around with as I learn. My intent really was just to buy and sell etfs/inverse etfs, because my focus is more on the general economy than individual businesses. I just happened to be intrigued by immx and I definitely did not allocate based on risk, so thats dumb on my part. Once I get a house, i'm going to be pretty set on putting 90% into vanguard index funds every month and not even thinking about it. The 10% I'll use to gamble in stocks. I read bogleheads book like 2 or 3 years ago but it was the first investing book I read, so alot of the specifics went over my head. If I read it now It'll make alot more sense.

sqqq back up. My dumbass bought at 63. I just got greedy. My brain was telling me that was appropriately priced and not a good buy but my dick was telling me fuck it go for it. I'm gonna hodl now for a while.

It was up 33% at one point.

Ended at 15 percent today for me. Ive now only lost about half my initial investment

I'm up +14% atm and sold all my bull ETF stocks and dumped it into this, a few thousand. I'm riding that out until the fed switches tactics.

Best to assume you really cant predict volatility. All you can really do is:

• Assume if a bull market has been going on for a while and everything is looking nice and rosy, its going to crash eventually.
• Even in times of a bear market, crash, or correction, the general long-term direction of the market will be up

How long things last for, exactly how high or low things go, or how much volatility will take place in the short term is all speculation tbh

19 percent gains on ENZC so far today. Good lord I hope it keeps up. Im down 45 percent off my initial investment.

If anyone got in like a week ago they'd have tripled their investment already lol

Ive got 2.5k in at an average of 11 cents. Up 24 percent today right now.

I think same thing happened last week or 2weeks ago ..huge Monday and Tuesday and everything went to shit again on wedneaday.

We touched 7.9 cents today. It went back down to only 4 percent gains but still.

I've come to the conclusion that CNBC is basically a series of mini infomertials.

Had to sell my GUSH position today, just went under contract for a house (which is another risky investment right now ugh) but made a quick $16,000 in a month, I'll take it. I'm still thinking oil is going to go up big time this winter.
