The season is less than a month away, so I like to get the first topic out there with plenty of time to spare so people are aware earlier and less prone to forget. For those who aren't familiar, the basic premise of this is that you are to select one team each week to win their matchup. Win and you move on. Lose or tie, and see you next season. The kicker is that you can pick each team only once per season. Official Rules 1. Choose one team to win each week 2. If your team wins, you move on. If your team loses or ties, you are eliminated 3. You cannot select a team more than once in a season 4. lolrams 5. You are free to change your pick as many times as you want, but you are locked in once the team you are currently on kicks off 6. The last two years I started with the uber safe pick and took the team playing the Jets week 1 that we all knew would win easily and then ultimately regretted it later when I didn't have that team for harder weeks. Let's go.. Spicier. If I die week 1 I don't need to go down the OCD rabbit hole~. Washington Commanders Let's go for the team playing the Jaguars instead! This will be yet another year where my primary strategy is going to be "pick opponents of the Jets, Giants, and Jaguars as much as possible". Football Team ...or Commanders, or Admirals, or whatever they're calling themselves now. Like Crescent, I'm picking teams playing the obvious fodder teams - the ones who'd lose to a college all-conference team - and going ballsy week 1 to try to get rid of a team I don't have any need for later. They play at home against a team run by Shad Khan, so they're the best option for that logic. If the Jaguars win, so be it. I'm gonna lose anyway, just a matter of when. If I can get to week 8, I'd be happy. And won't the team rally to play for their teammate who was nearly murdered? This is very different than the Colts. Lots of ways that game could go but I feel like most of them favor Washington.
