All new copies of Infinity Train ol1 and 2 (all they've release on DVD yet) on Amazon have sold out since this announcement, but the used copy sellers haven't realized what's going on yet so you can still get them cheap before it's too late!

I'm so dumb it took me until this year to really get it.

Somehow they have now decided that a Batman animated series isn't worth their investment.

Unless it's as poorly conceived as that last Batman series was I cannot understand this.

Imagine having the good Batman talents working on an animated show and going nah Ill pass. Its like they want to commit brand suicide with these decisions. If I wasnt so sad my favorite streaming service was dying Id say I cant wait to see this sink into the ground after the merger. Theres just no way most people will stick around when you axe this much and plan to axe even more

I should clarify they're shopping the Batman series around to put it somewhere else, but I really can't understand it unless it's like that weird Beware the Batman that heavily featured freaking Magpie over any of Batman's more popular villains.

Making the series - or even, god forbid, a successful series - means they'll have to pay people now and more down the line. Best to just not even bother!

I would say it's very lucky that Sandman got onto Netflix instead of being pulled into this mess, but apparently Netflix hasn't committed to renewing it even though it's been #1 show in the world for two weeks.

The director of Batgirl tried to salvage whatever footage he could after it was announced (not told to him) that the movie was canceled, and everything was already deleted.

Completely insane.

I've been hesitant to post in this topic on account of this all being so deeply upsetting to me, I don't exactly trust myself to speak rationally about it.

All I want is the Bat-Family to be fully realized in live action, but at this point I feel there's no hope left of that ever happening in my lifetime...

Don't worry you have Gotham Knights on the CW and it's going to even give you another member of the Bat Family you didn't even ask for to join them.

Im sure directors will be lining up for blocks to work with them in the future, lol.

Shazam 2 moved to February, and now Aquaman 2 is moved to December 2023. Makes me think they're re-shooting, unless they hope people will forget about Amber Heard by then.

Edit: And of course, The Flash does not move and is still on the same schedule.

They also already released trailers for these, which is the key difference between this and Batgirl because Batgirl was dissolved before any advertisement or intention to put it out was made past filming.

What I 100% think is going on here is that The Flash is going to be a full universe reset, and the delay on the other movies for reshoots is being done to reflect this as strongly as possible. As such, they can't NOT release The Flash or the whole thing is fucked...well, fucked for a different reason.

Well it's also because WBD said they can only afford to release two more major films this year. lol Don't Worry Darling which is coming out next month and Black Adam. They also pushed two more movies to a minor film release.

Never even heard of DWD at all and The Rock seems to be doing the bulk of trying to promote Black Adam.

Don't Worry Darling has Chris Pine and Hayden Penetierre in it. It's more of a thriller movie. I'm excited for it! It looks good!

I spoke about that earlier this thread. I was doing research on what people would actually like Zaslav's purge and sure enough, they were the crowd who were excited about the prospect of a DCEU which would focus on Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman instead of "Batgirl, Supergirl, and Wonder Woman". These dumbasses actually think for some reason that most of the outrage towards Batgirl being cancelled is because of its Latina lead and not because, oh I don't know, the movie was almost finished and it's not like it wasn't lacking for A-level talent. I could go on honestly.
