I'm on episode 7 and its been feeling just like a big rehash of the first season but holy hell episode 7 has to be the worst episode of any piece of media ever

Episode 7 sucks. And the season is a little too similar to the first but I still liked it a lot.

Seasons 1 and 4 are the best IMO

2 is the worst season but its still entertaining

IIRC, S2 was when they were given two more episodes than expected and they padded it with *that*.

Yeah it's by far the worst season, I almost didn't watch season 3 because it left such a sour taste in my mouth.

I stopped like 3 episodes in cause 2 was so bad. Is it worth watching just to do 3 and 4?

The Eleven storyline gets a lot of flack but its important in her development. She needed to find another person like her to expand her understanding of her powers.

I feel like people harp on it too much. Its not that bad and builds the mythos.

Season 3 is extra brutal to make up for it

Im a Stranger Things fan but the same shit happens basically every season. To me it always felt like youd like them all or not like any of them.

I guess if I think about it then 2 is easily the most forgettable season. I never thought it was bad though.

I didn't think season 2 was that bad at all, just a step down from season 1

Thankfully S4 is a massive upgrade.

I read something the other day that fans didnt like her and didnt like stranger things trying to be like a Marvel show with her character. So they just never mentioned her again lol

That made it so pointless though. I expected it to be brought up again in later seasons so I was fine with it only for them to never do it.

saw a fan theory before vol 2 of S4 dropped that shed come back and team up with 11 and 1 to defeat the Mind Flayer.

Like it would be revealed that 1 was corrupted and theyd free him and the three of them being 1, 8, and 11 = 20, apparently the perfect D&D roll.

That made it so pointless though. I expected it to be brought up again in later seasons so I was fine with it only for them to never do it.

My bet is that they had some loose plans to use her in S3, but the response to her plotline was so terrible that they did away with it.
