It's not really a good argument when you treat one aspect of it as sacred, and another as inconsequential. My view is we treat it all as gospel, or nothing at all. There will be negatives either way, you just need to decide which one you're willing to live with.

Obama doesn't refute election results. We know how shitty he was, and Leftists were generally more principled in criticizing his militarism, however ineffective.
