I still can't believe Nia somehow become a queen. How did she get roped into doing that?

One thing I wish I did was keep track of all the various Consul letters. I know who I, J, K, M, N, T, X, and Z. I feel like there was an O and P somewhere? But, I forget what other letters are used. I guess M will be reused for Miyabi later on? But, it feels rather unlikely N will open up for Nimue. So who knows how that will play out.

I was assuming I forgot something from the end of XB2. Was there no lead-up to that?

Short hair Mio actually looks better I think? Her long hair clips through her body/outfits.

One thing that makes it extra confusing is that half the Consuls die when we beat them while half of them survive. I dunno why it's so inconsistent - there are times where I can't tell which it is at the time, too. And yeah, it'd be nice if there were some sort of in-game character encyclopedia or something so I could keep track of who all the Consuls are.

I like short hair Mio, too! I guess one down side the long hair Mio is she is stuck with just one costume. Her old body is gone, so probably for the rest of the game as well?

Xenoblade does sometimes have a disconnect between what goes on during game play and what is going on in the story. Like even more that just the target being alive or dead, sometimes I'm stomping the boss but the party is having a really tough time in the following cutscene.

Not sure if you noticed, but you can switch between hair lengths in the Options -> Game at any time. Also long hair works with every costume.

The best one of these was in chapter 4 where I killed fake Melia in one big Chain Attack when she was at like 80% health and then she turned invincible after lol. This happened with a couple "unbeatable" bosses, actually, including M. But I'm not just talking about gameplay - the way Consuls vanish makes it unclear whether they die or teleport away sometimes.

RIP Mio. And Mio, you really, really don't need to apologize over having long hair. >_> To be honest, I wasn't really as suspicious about Riku as Thorn seemed to be in earlier comments. But, it's pretty hard to overlook the signs at this point. Was it really necessary to wait over a month to give Noah some hints about what he needed to do? I'm still not really sure I get what N is trying to do. Like if I'm understanding things right, Noah and Mio were already on a path towards the same ends that wore N down. Without N's intervention, Mio dies in a month and Noah has about a year more assuming Z doesn't end it early again. Not much to be jealous of there.
