Goku - I saw his wiener way too many times, but other than that, pretty cool dude

Vegeta - Probably the funniest character between his trash talk and smug Saiyan attitude

Piccolo - Just super likable with strong development and they found a way to keep him relevant even as he got outpowered by turning him into the wise sage

Eventually, but probably not right away. We've been watching Dragon Ball on and off for like the last three years, so we need a break before diving in for more.

Been playing Triangle Strategy, got my first ending last night, went the Benedict route.

Going in blind the whole time, its weird going 5-8 chapters without a new character popping up and then having 2 show up before the last fight.
(makes a bit more sense now that Ive looked up how they are unlocked)

I need to get back to my second run at some point. That'll be my second ending choice when I get to it.

Honestly, I felt like I enjoyed adult Goku less when they shoehorned him back into DBZ toward the end instead of properly passing the baton to Gohan (and now they've bypassed him entirely for Uub lawl), so I'd say probably kid Goku overall.

Guess I may as well throw in the DB vs DBZ one.

Yeah, that's tough. Like I said, I loved the tournaments and that's an integral part of the original. I love the added flair and style of DBZ, but the arcs also tend to last longer than needed (other than probably the Saiyan arc and perhaps the Cell arc). Dragon Ball has a couple of dud arcs early on, but it's basically the opposite of DBZ in that it starts slow and finishes strong.

I'm honestly not sure who'd get my overall vote, but Dragon Ball's best is better than DBZ's best, so I guess I'll lean toward the original.

Wow, I thought after Season 1, they were setting up Joyce and Hopper getting together, and now she's making out with Samwise out of nowhere!

Also fun fact: my wife told me they filmed this episode in the town she grew up in, so that's neat.

TWEWY2: Got my 4th party member and starting to get used to the battle system. I'm sure it could be played a lot more optimally but I've found a groove that more or less works for me.

Stranger Things Season 4 Volume II watched.

Okay, so like, objectively, Season 1 is probably the best season in the sense that it's just pretty tight and has no real glaring weaknesses but I think without a doubt Season 4 is my favorite. Both Volumes I and II were incredible. There's some dumb stuff and bloat there but when it's on - which is most of the time - it's the best of the series hands down IMO.

Goku vs Frieza is so bad in the anime

Its fine in the manga, but nothing has driven home the importance of pacing to me like that fight

(I didnt watch the Buu Saga part of the anime; that was the worst part of the story overall, so I could still imagine that being worse if the pacing is also bad)

Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth Episode 1-2 spoilers
I barely remember what's going on from the first season of the anime and IIRC the first season made a mess of the plot anyways. With that said, I do like a lot of the cast so it was nice seeing them back. Also, hearing Nuedori as the ending for the first episode was pretty hype!

People who played the game seemed to be particularly unhappy with how the first game was adapted. So I'm not sure it would be worth your time to try.

Yeah, I heard Mask of Deception's adaptation was really bad but MoT is a Top 10, if not 5, game for me so I'd like to hope they can turn it around.

I've thought about trying the Mask of Truth anime but yeah I'm a bit scared given the reaction to the MoD anime. (I've also played the game and lived it so I think I'm just asking to be disappointed)

Finished with all the Harley Quinn stuff in Arkham Asylum (or at least I appear to be since a trophy popped for it), and we've figured out what the Joker's real plot is now. Game is pretty solid so far, and I like the sense of progression it has for developing Batman's skills. The different Easter Eggs scattered throughout make it pretty fun to explore, too.

Im (presumably) about halfway through Nirvana Initiative now and Im really liking it so far. Most notably theyve changed the somnia so that theres actually logic behind what youre supposed to do to progress (rather than the almost random guessing with some timie strategy that the original had).

The Day of Reckoning descends upon F/GO in just over 7 hours.

The most broken Servant (to this day!) releases for the game's 5th Anniversary. I have a 97% chance of landing her with what I should have ready then. But that 3% chance of failure looms large.

Also the twice-a-year guaranteed SSR pool on top of that. The dream would be one of my 2 high priority targets (one who I tried and failed on a few months ago and another who I'm preparing for at the end of the year) but that would be beating the odds. Only one truly terrible result there out of 11 but if it happens I will be so salty.

I actually just started nirvanA Initiative today. I'm don't recall how to indicate what route I'm on but I'm in a chapter 1 of some sort.

My current theory that isn't supported by anything is that events from 6 years ago and current time are actually happening at the same time somehow. Time of death still doesn't work out even if this is true, though. >_> I still need to make something up for that to work.

Man, the middle school years really were the worst.

I beat the pair of Titans in Arkham Asylum and acquired the Line Launcher, which will be helpful for reaching places I couldn't previously, so that's nice.

although if Batman has a remote controlled drone like that, why doesn't he just use it to destroy the lab

they went nuts last night and doggo was very unhappy

I'm just hoping they got it out of their system last night and tonight will be relatively calm.

Yeah, we've had fireworks in our neighborhood the last two nights, and my doggo has not been happy. We've been giving her medicine to help her calm down, but she still gets pretty bothered by it.

Do they bark and stuff or just look terrified
