Current Events > Besides WV, what else do i need to see to watch Doctor Strange MoM?

I watched the first 2 episodes of WV over a month ago but i was busy with work so I haven't gotten around to continuing.

Now that I've 100% LEGO Star Wars TSS, I have nothing pressing.

WandaVision and Spider-Man: No Way Home, but the latter isn't too important to the story, I guess.

It's probably a given, but the first Doctor Strange, Infinity War, and Endgame set it up. No Way Home contributes a bit but isn't really crucial.

Only WV really. What If? kind of sets up some ideas too. No Way Home and Loki are connected because they deal with the multiverse, but not directly relevant.

Loki series could be good to watch too, but isnt required

I've seen Spider-Man NWH. Twice.

Once in DBox. Didn't know you could feel like you were swinging while 'sitting still'

I didn't watch WV and followed the movie fine, they explain the events in a nutshell pretty clear.

It explains it enough, sure. But I do feel like you miss out a bit. Her entire motivation in Multiverse of Madness is based on what she did in WandaVision

Compared with basically totally unrelated material by story or theme, FATWS, The Eternals, Black Widow, Moon Knight. Although Moon Knight sets out to be an outlier in general and there is some inadvertent overlap with multiple personalities vs multiple persons

Hawkeye is unrelated, unless you consider Kingpin a connection on the theme of multiverse and retcons

Ms Marvel is unrelated as far as I know

Previous Sam Raimi movies like Darkman and Spiderman are a plus

Obv Age of Ultron and Infinity Wars

They lost me with parts of Phase 2, but really brought it together again, and now I enjoy every movie of the original MCU trilogy. I hope we can achieve the same thing again here some day.

That's not Iron Man, but sure, I guess it kinda is. In like a real fringe way, or consequentially perhaps. It's like saying an action movie will have action, I guess.

If you're interested in like youth heroes Ms Marvel style or like Tom Holland, America Chavez might scratch that itch and open the doors to stuff like Ms Marvel and Hawkeye. Wanda herself might come across as a youth hero gone wrong, or back to villain.

You really don't need anything. For all the wackiness, it's a pretty self-contained story.

Doctor Strange 1 for some character background is probably most essential. Then maybe IW and Endgame so you understand some of the shit with Thanos, but even that's not too important.

MoM as a starting point? That sounds amazing
