Is it for your insulin injections or something? My grandpa used to let me inject back in the early 90s into his belly before dinner.

I did trt a few times, but the pill worked better. I still have 3 spare disposables.

well sort of

it's the syringe in the glucagon kit i have (that expired in 2020 lmao)

i cracked it open just to see what it involved since it was expired and it's a glass syringe with saline and a vial that you squirt the saline into and then shake the piss out of it to dissolve what i'm pretty sure is just a disc of sugar but is apparently just a synthetic glucagon of the stuff your body already makes

it's for if you go into hyperglycemia and into a coma, shoots your bg into fucking space in minutes

My Dad was given what would amount to 500 dollars worth of free enzyme testing strips over the course of his visits to the VA for his pre-diabetes and never used them once. Then when I showed him how we found out they were all expired.

He ignored his a1c until it got over 6 then the doctor bitched him out and he finally told my Mom. Apparently since then he's been better about managing it.
