Actually, I've been wanting to get back into Cities Skylines recently. Which DLCs do people recommend? I already have After Dark and Mass Transit.

VII Remake: Intergrade is going for 49.69 right now, which is decent for the time I might put into it, but we'll see how I feel about that in a couple days or so. Skyrim is also on sale, for the dozen of us who don't have the game already, but it's 13-something (my interest remains still not that high). Resident Evil: Village is going for about 30 (I'm definitely waiting for much lower on that one).

I already bought FFVIIRI the first day and I'm still playing that lol

I guess I can grab some other things to play after.

I hear that. I'm still playing, on and off, my first file of The Witcher 2 after it went on sale for a few bucks a few weeks ago. At this point, because of my backlog, there's a list of games I'll only buy once they're on sale, since that helps contain the size of said backlog. Like when I'd gotten Jedi: Fallen Order for about six bucks a month and a half ago and finally played through it to the point of only missing two or three achievements. <_<

VIIR:I is somewhere high on my priority play list, when I'm not busy knocking out goals in FFXIV? So yeah. It happens.

It started on sale. It wasnt part of the summer sale.

Bought Running with Rifles, which is a neat little top down shooter that's like Foxhole but for casuals.

I only kinda played Mass effect back in the day so I bought the stuff they had on sale.

It had been on sale before (last year on Epic I think) while there befoe you also could get a 25% Discount on top of the Sale

But the Game is 2 years old now...even RE8/Village (which came out a year later) is cheaper on sale than both titles

I know 'how' to find them now, just look for the item with the corrupted pricing... but for this one I have like 40 "hidden" games in the store page so I think it's getting buried by my preference settings.

My recommendations for hOrRoR are:

Ib, Witch's House and Misao

All excellent, although the steam version of Ib isn't in english (last I checked)

It's so tough to search thru these sales, lol
So many things.
One thing I've learned: Don't trust steam reviews at all. Fallout 76 and Shenmue III are both "mostly positive", lol
I guess the "I don't want to admit I was a sucker" sunk cost mentality is real...

Dragon's Dogma for $4.79 is crazy. I already own it on PS3, but might buy it again since it's so cheap and apparently mods fix a lot of the problems w/ it (namely, discipline-locked stat progressions and switching out Into Free as the title theme... it's an excellent game, so the flaws aren't anything crazy).
If you don't already own DD: Dark Arisen, I highly recommend it, especially at that price.

fate series is spawned from a visual novel that was really fuckin great, had a bad first anime and movie, and basically everything afterwards is god tier

Extella/Link (and its prequel, Fate/Extella) is an extension of the Extra-universe, where the entire thing is digital, but it basically comes down to almost the same thing as vanilla Fate except it's all data. ok i'm not qualified to explain the whole fateverse but it's basically: Earth protects itself using heroes from the past, usually in an idealized form from the legends surrounding them.

the original F/SN used these 7 heroes: an original character based on the visual novel's main character to his logical extreme, Medusa, Gilgamesh, Cu Chulainn, Heracles, Sasaki Kojiro (sort of). ..and the main heroine is a genderswapped King Arthur. and extella gets crazier from there.

don't think there is anything I want that I don't already have.

This reminds me of a computer game I used to play back in school during the 90s. But it was super simplistic compared to this. A sheet of square paper ran through a conveyor belt and you had to place machines that would either rotate, punch holes, and draw lines across it. The goal was to make it match the sample they gave you. But this looks like that times a million. I wonder if it's less complicated than it looks.
