Or when you're jumping into a new area and you can't see the enemy that's just offscreen. Or any projectile, yeah. The controls themselves aren't terrible when compared to other SNES games, but riding friendly animals is usually awkward, sequences of bounces are awkward - the timing is odd graphically, etc. It requires a fair amount of brain adjusting.
