But it's the NAME of the bean. Nobody just says "pinto." It's "pinto bean." Would you just say garbanzo or fava in isolation? At best, maybe you could call it an adjective, but at that point we're speaking Spanish.

forgot to post for a couple days, got pinto in 4 and egret in 5 including the same beret -> egret sequence i did in dordle the day before that. also yesterday was the first time i played duotrigordle in a while and that one was fun, was able to deduce every word from just a single starting guess (33 guesses total for 32 words).

Dear sadists at Wordle.... that was MEAN! Many streaks will be broken today, and of course some of those people will take no fault even though they're lesser players than I am. People forget: The first goal is to get the word. Getting it in as few guesses as possible is secondary. So trying words to eliminate letters is a top priority. When all I had left was Q Z X F V G J K and I only had the middle letter and one unduplicated other letter, I knew it had to be a nasty word. If you don't plan your words, you might be on your 6th word....

according to scordle it was the optimal second word! the first word was the lucky one, getting that particular green letter alone narrows down the list a ton.
