I watched the finale the other day and I don't think I unclenched for the entire runtime. My anxiety was through the roof and I hated it but also loved it and I still can't process my feelings about it entirely.

But even after all that I still think the biggest mindfuck was getting to the end of the pilot and seeing the Directed By card.

I really need to watch this damn series already!

Its very cool and good. I didnt find it quite as constantly stressful, but there is definitely serious tension there.

also the guy who plays Milchick is incredible and I couldnt believe he hasnt had more work when I looked him up

Yeah you're right it's a steady burn of unease in the first few episodes up until the finale where it was full on anxiety for me. But there's something about the entire concept that has this fog of unease that settles in you from the start.

And Milchick is definitely a standout in a cast full of great characters. Same with Britt Lower who I have wanted to see in more things since Man Seeking Woman got cancelled.

Phenomenal show. Halfway through 2022, New Show of the Year for me.

yeah, I was happy to see Britt too. Man Seeking Woman is under appreciated, I really enjoyed it. She and Adam Scott make a great pseudo Jim/Pam for the inside story.

Great show, the last 3 eps are particularly good.

Well, having experienced panic attacks before, I can only conclude that this must be the worst show in existence and should be declared a war crime.

It's cool that everyone has different opinions on it

There were things about the final episode that felt scattered or unnecessary (I don't think it was important that the two leads become romantic, or that his wife be a secret plot element.) but I love the series as a whole. I'll give it a lot of benefit of the doubt and say the complex having little to no security is just symbolic of how much power workers actually have if they choose to take it.

I was very glad that the finale seemed to move the plot along in an irreversible way. Hopefully a season two comes out, given how many hooks they dumped on us. Season one apparently took forever to make

Wasn't it already renewed? If it wasn't, THAT might give me a panic attack.

i should revise that to say i hope a season two comes out sooner rather than later! don't know if i can handle waiting 5 years, or however long it took to create s1
