Ayy the jet black dye my retainer brought me yesterday sold last night for over a million

Also somebody sold a resplendent feather last night for a million. :|

I am kicking myself. In the past day, I checked across the servers, and found the just five minutes prior, someone on Mid bought 10 Resplendent Feathers for one tenth of the price, because someone had missed a 0. I was THAT CLOSE to getting the feathers I needed, a feather for Paper, and six more to just sell for a profit. Five minutes!

Answering without spoilers is tricky, with or without videos.

- The 24-man raid series involves sky pirates and delves a bit into the Voidsent and some of the Mhach (that's as much as I can say without spoiling). Void Ark is the weakest 24-man raid in the game, but Weeping City and Dun Scaith (pronounced Doun Sky) are damned good and better than the Crystal Tower raids. One boss is a huge nod to IX, but I won't say more than that.
- The 8-man raid series has you climbing inside the mechanical primal Alexander for reasons I can't really get into without spoiling, but the story is decent and most of the fights are varying levels of fun or neat.
- Again, you have trials against the Warring Triad (Sephirot the Fiend, Sophia the Goddess, Zurvan the Demon). To this day I still call one npc Ukulele.

Raids are very secondary to me. Can you maybe give me some very light intro plot spoilers in a way that sounds really interesting, or maybe comment on the theme of the expansion? What makes it so award winning?

Oh, this main story of it...

Your character and two closest allies, survivors of a night gone horribly wrong, take refuge in a city of Elezen at war with the dragons. You stumble upon political intrigue and cover-ups while going out to turn the tide of a war that may not be all as it seems. HW is known as the expansion that first tugged at the heartstrings and made you give a damn about so much of what is happening, and pushing the PS3 limitations, well, to their limits.

So now A8s is easy with two or three people. Like even with damage downs, you can burn the boss down before Gavel goes off. For this reason, I now finally have the Faustlet, bringing my total count for minions to 399.

I want one more before the patch. =D

There are a few mounts I'm hoping to get before the patch, too. Cerberus, Alkonest (sp?), Wivre, and the Eden version of Ramuh.

yes they seem so but they are very freaky when i'm playing in the dark lol

trying to grind for the kumuy mounts and i'm using party finder. got a brother/sister pair that were bickering the whole time it ruined any fun i could have lol

@Entity13 Do you know of a good tutorial for how to do the grade 4 expert crafts for Firmament? I have no idea what I'm doing here.
Also my crafter stats without food or tea are 3239 craftsmanship 3167 control 572 CP with a crafter soul crystal

With those stats, Grade 4s are rough and still going to hit you hard with rng. Even with my stats, food and pots, and a nice macro, I still fail roughly 10% of the crafts at that grade. As to a good tutorial, well...

Every time I find one, with a solid mention of prioritized abilities and what the different conditions all do, the guide seems to vanish. I will say that Pliant (half cp cost) and Sturdy (half durability cost) are your friends, if your friends were the sort to show up at the worst possible time with some neat tool or video you could have used a moment sooner. The condition that starts with M, I forgot the word, increases Progress by an additional 50%, that does stack with Veneration if you have it up.

Most people, from what I could tell, like to start with Progress and get within a Synthesis ability to finish, without buffs, and then work on Quality. My advice is do what you're comfortable with. Or wait until 6.3 to work on this. lol

My fishing retainer just brought me a Crabe de la Crabe. That makes 400 minions. =)

My Grade 2 Expert crafts are all done. Grade 3s are waiting for the next gearset, and then I'll throw in some Grade 4s for the 150k point achievements. So I'm essentially done with Ishgard until that time comes in December/January.

6.2 live letter tomorrow morning at 4 AM PDT. I am not staying up for that lol

The plain launcher seems to be fine here, at the moment. I've gotten that kind of error in the past, rebooted my computer, and was fine.

And there, I've bought 99 vouchers for about 7.6mil after market fees. 104 vouchers to go to the mount.

Semi-weekly map nights in our free company: We get together with others in our fc to start with the lv90 group maps, and sometimes throw in lower level ones if we have the time and energy for it

Roulettes as the Adventurer in Need: It seriously adds up.

Selling random stuff we have easy access to.

Yeah weekly maps night, plus daily/weekly activities, plus some marketboard knowhow. I get between 1-2 mil a week just playing a couple hours a day.

I wish I was done with the Wiver grind already, if only because I am going to need some mats, and some of that time, to grab the mats needed for the crafter relics from last expansion. Not the Resplendent tools, but the Dragonsong stuff. Apparently they're so easy with current stats. I'd like the finished tools for glam, on top of the achievements.

Any help I can get on mats would be appreciated. xD

I've so far done the MSQ and follow-up sidequest, picked up five of the eight Masterbook Xs for my crafters, and the first two normal modes for the new Pandaemonium. Pandae is fun so far; just pay attention to what-all is happening. Sadly, I have to go to work today, and will be back in time for... half the people getting the normal raids to expect everyone else to know what they're doing already. <_<;
