Unless the hourly rate is high or the work is structured around overtime exemption, salary is generally the better answer. It would really depend on the job. It would be nice to work less than a full 8 hour day and still get paid for the whole day. But I've seen people work 60 hour weeks while only getting paid for 40. Hell no to that. Guide posted... In the two companies I've worked for that had both salaried and hourly workers, they abused the shit out of salaried workers by making them come in early and/or work late for no extra pay. Like many of them ended up with 50+ hour weeks regularly. Fuck that. ... Copied to Clipboard!
