Last big thing I did was defeat Radhan. I've given Millicent the needle and sent her on her travels, Blaidd's waiting for me where the star fell, and the I've joined the Volcano Manor. I haven't done the Divine Tower of Caelid yet, but I'm not really using the Great Runes anyway. Altus Plateau seems a bit rough for my level range, but that might just be the Shaded Castle coloring my opinion of it. I feel like I've explored a decent chunk of southern Caelid, but they did too good a job of making it awful and oppressing, so that might just be me not wanting to be there.

My stats if that matters. Kind of a mess, I think.

altus is really cool and you're right around the level to start poking around it. If you're worried about being a little to low to go to deep in it though, I would go talk to Blaidd and do that quest for awhile. It takes you through some really cool areas

It's very short. There's a teleporter that leads back to Castle Redmane, Starscourge's Heirloom which raises strength as a talisman, and a nice opportunity for a plunging attack on one of the monsters. Other than that, I didn't really find anything, and I was pretty thorough.

Seems like a great way to get to Redmane, maybe, depending on your initial route

Yeah, I went through Fort Gael to get to Redmane, not knowing that the festival cleared out all the enemies. There are a couple of tough enemies, but they're pretty easy to exploit if you have any kind of ranged attacks because there's a big ol' pit in the middle.

whenever in doubt, i try to do a full sweep of an area before advancing. look for places you havent visited that might give you access to new items, bosses, quests and whatnot.

i know this answer sounds generic as hell but its the best advice i can give tbh... lol

The monster there drops an Ashes of War, Lion Claw
