They say this isn't a full list, and hopefully that's true because that classics game lineup is just *embarrasing*. Would have been better off just not revealing anything until that list got beefed up.

It's surreal to see Demon's Souls PS3 on there NGL. I'm sure that will get a revival in the Souls community as a result.

I get the feeling a lot of people aren't going to read the opening paragraph that this is just a sneak peak and not the full list and will assume this is it

Hopefully more people play Resistance 3 with this

The classic list isn't great for sure, especially if you're already a PS Now member, but their list of current titles is pretty good to start.

Not sure why they're staggering the game announcements - this is a pathetic offering. Not a single game there that's remotely enticing, tbh.

Just this small list is way more enticing to me than what Nintendo Online offers

So the PS Plus Collection isn't going away with this is it? My brother had the PS4 last gen and though we lived together most of that time, there's a ton I missed out on that era. Really want that collection more than this, just haven't gotten a PS5 yet.

There is 1 game leaving PS+ collection very soon (this month) so make sure to add Persona 5 before its gone. Its just the vanilla game, but still.

Apparently Ubisoft's adding a ton of stuff. Some of it's one the list in the initial post, but not all of it (Stick of Truth and Blood Dragon, for example).

I see Ubisoft is separating itself out as a different subscription name.

It's collectively PS+, like how the current-gen Xbox is "Xbox"

IIRC that Ubisoft thing already exists, but it's being included as part of this deal.

Hm, must have been thinking of one of their 36 other Ubisoft passes they've tried to do before.

Ubisoft+ is a thing that exists on PC already, yes, and was previously announced as coming to Xbox as well. Unlike EA's version it's not included in Game Pass; not sure if they're including it with PS+ or if like what they did when it came to Xbox they're just putting some titles from it on the PS+ list in the leadup to the U+ launch itself. It sounds like the latter though.

Ubisoft+ Classics is the new service. It's different from Ubisoft+. It's included with PS++ and available separately as well.

This is like when they announced the game list for that PS1 Mini and 95% of the games were things nobody wanted

Most of the good PS1 games are from Square/Konami/Capcom/Activision Blizzard and they definitely would rather milk it themselves than partner up on this

as a new PS5 owner the Extra might be all I am interested in

I own a looooot of PS1 games on PS3 I know longer have access to. Looking forward to that.

Will be funny if Chrono Cross from PS Classics comes over with just a generic system boost, since that game ran better on the PS1 than the remaster does on PS5.

They have Intelligent Qube, and I liked that. Not $120 like it, but it's nice.

PS1 games that were absent even on the PS3 version of PSN:

Colony Wars 1, 2, & 3

I never understood why these games never made it on the PSN platform. Wipeout XL would of been nice too.

Also, even though it's not that great of a game, Resident Evil Survivor would of been a nice PSN addition. A used copy now can go for $30+ if it is disc only. A complete in box with manual version goes for about $50-$60.

Super happy to hear I will be able to download all my digital games I got on PS3 when I finally get a PS5. My PS3 died a few years ago so I lost access to all of them.

My understanding is that it's not "all" of them, only the ones that are available through the new service.

Hmm. I'll have to check then. Big ones for me are Suikedon 2 and FF9.

Any word on when this will actually be available? A $10 one month subscription in order to play the hell outta Demon's Souls is a great deal.

but its also 15 a month for the extra package that would include Demons Souls

we got trophy lists now for

Ape Escape
Hot Shots Golf
Intelligent Qube
Syphon Filter
Wild ARMs

So at least all first party games are going to have trophies

They look pretty easy too

Apparently theyre all the PAL versions, at least on the Asian PSN

If they give us 50 Hz bullshit Im gonna be so pissed

They did it with PS1 Mini didn't they?

Some were, some werent

seems to be the case here too, some of the third-party games are NTSC like Tekken 2 and Oddworld
