I think it's pretty interesting that there were multiple people that loved Creep while I thought it was insufferably boring, and those same people thought A Girl Walks Home Alone At Night was insufferably boring while I loved it. If we all could've agreed on which of these two was interesting we could've gotten it in the top twenty.

I think the only real overlap of people that liked both is Snake.

So now that we're through 10 movies, I've got a question for the group...

If you had an opportunity to re-rank one revealed movie (higher or lower), which one would it be?

In other words, have the writeups changed your mind on something?

Personally, I would drop A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night (my #23) down to around #29. I had hoped that the writeups would help me appreciate the movie more, but ultimately they confirmed that it was just too artsy for me. When I ranked it #23, I gave it the benefit of the doubt, but looking back, I wish I had been more honest with myself about how little I enjoyed it.

Haha oh man if we ever do a campy/bad horror movie list I am 100% in. Those are some of my favorite to watch.

WOW. Hurtful and rude. Well, I would rank Terrifier even lower, down around 36. Now, I know you're saying "but Suprak there aren't 36 movies here" but that's just how much I hate Terrifier. My 30-35 rankings would be:

30) My television left off for the full duration of Terrifier's run time
31) Halloween Kills with that weird commentary/interview from Jamie Lee Curtis calling it a masterpiece
32) Just that tubby time scene from Creep played on an endless loop
33) The death of film as an art medium
34) The death of art as a means of expression
35) The death of expression as a means of communicating ideas
36) Terrifier

Yeah, agree with this 100%. The story might be very basic but everything around it is excellent. It is definitely too artsy at time, but not so much that it completely torpedos the film.

My real answer would be to bump Halloween down to 9 or so. I really struggled with the 10-6 portion of my list, but at least at the moment after thinking about it a bit more, that middle portion of Halloween drags just enough (and has a weird enough mechanism to get Michael to the ending) that I think I'd put it below my number 8 for sure and my number 9 maybe. That whole portion of my list changed like three times before I submitted, once after I submitted, and then once more like five minutes before the list was finalized.

Nothing else I've seen has really changed my opinion on anything, although there have been many good points made by the ranking crew here!

As for dumb horror movies, has anyone seen Abattoir (2016) on Netflix? I loved that. Was surprised to see it had like a 4/10 on IMDB.

Back in 2014 I watched a freaky Elijah Wood horror movie with my buddy and his then-three-year-old daughter. Can't remember the name or premise of he movie, but I have a vague memory of Elijah Wood wearing someone else's skin and being fixated on mannequins.
