The parent birds don't shit there, so the nesting site has been fairly clean since they moved in. It (stupidly) never dawned on me that the baby birds will need to shit once they start feeding. The parent birds scrape the shit out and pile it up outside the nest so the babies have a clean nest. Can't really get a good picture due to the window, screen, and some of the bush obstructing it, but it is cool to watch from there. Looks like they are ready to leave the nest because the mothers stopped feeding them and they are pretty big. That is the 3rd time birds have put a nest in that bush. I like watching them feed, but it is always weird watching the mother eat the babies poop. 0_0 --- After 16 years, I have decided my signature will NOT be about my job!
