I just got my email. Stoked after all the news of these significant updates to the software in the last couple weeks.

I actually have 2 and I'm still thinking over what to do with the second one when/if it arrives tomorrow.

FedEx said mine was delivered on Apr 30th but it was nowhere to be seen. I was also in my yard at the time it was supposedly scanned in as delivered at my door and never saw FedEx come. I put in a support ticket about it and they said they would investigate. After a week of waiting they tell me they are sending another one. That shipped on Tuesday. Yesterday the initial one shows up on my door 11 days after the scan says it was delivered.

So not sure if I send one back or just say nothing.

Clearly the answer is you do one of those drop test videos with the spare.

EDIT: my stupid brain also wonders if Valve is bothering to check account sign ins to specific hardware. And even if they are, if they would do anything about it.

Ive been seeing an insane number of shipping errors and mid-shipping delays for these things, is Valve underpaying for delivery somehow?

God of War at PS4 "Original" settings 30fps, in the palm of my hands.

Elden Ring seems to hold steady 30fps at highish settings too.

But most importantly, this machine is about to become my Yakuza machine. The ability to play wherever and then sleep games on my Steam library instead of having to sit at my desktop and boot each time I want to play is gonna be a gamechanger for my backlog.

I havent done extensive testing but so far the only game that's outright refused to work is Samurai Warriors: Spirit of Sanada. Final Fantasy 4 3D Remake is oddly "verified" but has some trouble booting, and you need to force an older version of Proton to make it work.

I'm Q2 but still waiting on my email :(
