Game is seriously a lot of fun. If any of you are into Smash or other platform fighters, I'd take a look into this.

I believe so yeah. I'm excited to see what changes they have from the pre-alpha. I already noticed a couple things different in that youtube gameplay footage.

Since Nickelodeon flopped I've been looking forward to this game! Hopefully they manage to find some success because playing a platform fighter online with actual good netcode sounds like a great time.

If anyone gets an extra code and I don't get in I'd greatly appreciate an invite!

surprised I haven't heard anything about this game in a while

the initial look was solid but I'm still hesitant of it being FTP and I'm waiting to see more characters/stages/modes/etc revealed

The F2P model for this game looks okay unless the characters are crazy expensive. They're actually putting a lot of effort into different costumes with unique voice lines (and voice actors too I think) so I could justify spending some money on cool costumes if the game is fun.

All of the gameplay affecting stuff can only be earned by playing and leveling up your characters.

As someone who paid full price for the Nickelodeon game I'm glad this one is free so that if it bombs at least I'm not out $40 lol

They've gotten a lot of the original voice actors for the voices yeah. Tom's screams still take the cake though.

yeah that's fair, the Nick one was a huge waste of money, and I bought it on sale

Did you dislike the game or did the online die too quickly or something else? I think NASB was pretty active for the first month before it started to come apart.

Checking on Steam I did actually play NASB for 35 hours so it wasn't a complete waste of money I guess.

But yes the online died a little too quickly and the APM was destroying my hand. Mashing air dodge into the ground non stop for 5 minutes was going to ruin me.

I hated how fast NASB was anyways. Not everything has to be Melee. A game can still be deep and enjoyable without having to do 10 different inputs in a second and not knowing what the character is even doing because of the shitty / quick animations.

It's the game's mascot character.

It's Reindog! He's adorable and hella fun to play :)

Oh, didnt know it had a mascot. At least Im familiar with every character so far even for the shows I havent seen yet like Adventure Time

Why did they need a mascot when they already have Michigan J Frog

the theme song to this game should just be a dubstep remix of him singing that ragtime song

There's also a generic Ninja and Brute that have been datamined. The rumor is that the ninja will have a Naruto costume and the Brute will have a Hulk and Wreck it Ralph costume.

I think the only Datamines Im interested in are Gizmo and Marvin

I hope the Brute gets a Master Blaster costume, because Master Blaster rules.
