Not sure on that one.

Meanwhile in the tag team division over the past 8 years, the Usos have held the Raw and SmackDown tag titles for a combined 1112 days, just 218 shy of tying Kofi's combined run as Raw/SmackDown/World Tag Team champion (basically 4 months as Undisputed Tag champs would have them pass Kofi)

WWE PPV Main Event Appearances - All Time
1) Undertaker - 73
2) Cena - 72
3) HHH - 70
4) Orton - 59
5) HBK - 50
6) Austin - 42
6) Lesnar - 42
6) Reigns - 42
9) Kane - 39
10) The Rock - 34

Barring a wacky "McIntyre wins and Theory cashes in" situation at Clash, Reigns will claim 6th place for himself next month.

WWE PPV Main Event Wins - All Time
1) Cena - 37
2) HHH - 34
3) Undertaker - 26
3) Reigns - 26
5) Lesnar - 23
6) Austin - 21
7) HBK - 19
8) Hogan - 18
8) Orton - 18
10) The Rock - 16

Again, barring the same unlikely situation mentioned above, Reigns most likely takes 3rd place for himself.

Finally, the made up titles that some of us nonchalantly follow...
WWE's The Man (this one eventually merged the lineage that started with Flair's loss at WrestleMania 24 with the lineage that started in 2011 when CM Punk called Cena "The Man"): Roman Reigns
WWE's The Man - Women's Lineage started by Becky Lynch in 2018: Liv Morgan
AEW's The Man (Originally Impact's Man title, begun with what was at the time Ric Flair's final match in 2011): CM Punk
Interim Man title (Originally the third edition of WWE's Man title started in 2015, which was held by Samoa Joe at the time of his WWE release in 2021): Adam Cole
Custody of Dominik Mysterio: Roman Reigns

Glad to see HHH giving the midcard belts some attention.

After nearly a year long drought, Theory vs Ali at Hell in a Cell was the first ppv since Summerslam 2021 where the US title was defended, and now it's been on 3 ppvs in a row. I'd safely assume Lashley gets a match at Clash.

The Intercontinental title hasn't been defended on ppv since Wrestlemania 37, possibly the longest drought in the title's history, though I'm not 100% certain. However, with the belt currently on a European wrestler, I feel confident that Gunther gets a ppv slot too at Clash.

Today's fun, useless facts
- If Cena doesn't wrestle a match before the year ends, it'll be the first time in his entire WWE career he goes a full calendar year without wrestling once, ending an active streak of 20 years. The frontrunner then would be Randy Orton alone who has wrestled at least once every year since 2002 and already punched his ticket in for wrestling this year
- If Charlotte Flair doesn't win a championship before the year ends, it'll end a streak that's lasted since 2014 where she's won a belt on either NXT or the main roster

I've been tuning in on a regular basis post the big shakeup and I've already noticed small overall improvement to everything. Feels like less of a chore to watch all the way through.

U.S. title scene has been putting on good matches. They're getting Lashley back on track to where he needs to be, a dominate looking champion.

I had to look this one up, but just comparing decades up to where we are now, in terms of the IC title defenses on PPV only...

January 2010 to August 2012
McIntyre vs Kane
McIntyre vs Kofi
Kofi vs McIntyre
Ziggler vs Kofi
Ziggler vs Kofi
Ziggler vs Kaval
Ziggler vs Kofi vs Swagger
Barrett vs Zeke
Barrett vs Zeke
Cody vs Ted
Cody vs Morrison
Cody vs Booker
Cody vs Big Show
Big Show vs Cody
Cody vs Christian
Christian vs Cody
Miz vs Rey

January 2020 to August 2022
Strowman vs Zayn/Cesaro/Nakamura
Zayn vs Bryan
Hardy vs Styles vs Zayn
Big E vs Crews
Big E vs Crews

The IC title took a huge hit when Zayn wasn't competing due to the pandemic in 2020, and then Vince stopped giving a shit about it in 2021.

Going from January 2000 to August 2022, it'd just be easier to count the ppvs that didn't have an IC title match

I also felt the IC title's stock dipped in the mid-2010s. Most champs were booked like losers, drew crowd apathy, were plot devices or got injured.

Yeah it varied. IC Champs in the 10s included...

McIntyre - Entitled heel coddled by management. Had the charisma of a cardboard box back in 2010
Kofi - 2x champ in 10s. Not much to say here; Kofi was where he needed to be.
Ziggler - 5x champ in 10s. All over the place. Heel champ Dolph was arrogant and it worked. 2014 Dolph played hot potato with the belt with Miz, Harper, and Barrett. 2016 Dolph was booked like a loser until his against all odds moment at No Mercy, then immediately drops the belt anyway.
Barrett - 4x champ, all of his reigns forgettable. Bad News had promise until the injury
Zeke - Forgettable
Cody - 2x champ, these reigns helped him out, especially the first
Big Show - Hey let's make him a grand slam champ for a month
Christian - Not as memorable as his 2003 run
Miz - 8x champ. First four reigns were forgettable, the ones starting in 16 made him a centerpiece on SD
Axel - lol
Big E - Pre-New Day Big E is forgettable
Harper - Forgettable
Bryan - Had potential but injury cut it short
Ryback - Forgettable
Owens - 2x champ, helped him with his position on Raw's roster
Ambrose - 3x champ, only his 2nd IC run really did anything for him
Ryder - Best 24 hours ever, but really also forgettable
Reigns - Hey let's make this guy a grand slam champion!
Rollins - See above, 2x champ
Lashley - 2x champ. Nice surprise, too bad he did nothing with it
Balor - 2x champ, basically did nothing with the belts except lose them
Nakamura - Had one defense against Reigns and then carried the belt like a paperweight for the remainder of 2019

Axel and the title were irrelevant and just story elements for Punk/Heyman at the time.

Ambrose/Owens in the LMS at RR2K16 was probably the high point for the title. That was a fucking war.

Not to mention Axel only won the belt because Fandango got hurt.

On the other end of the spectrum, here's the US champs of the 2010s

Miz - 2x champ. A necessary grab to help begin his push.
Bret Hart - lol
R Truth - 2x champ. Somehow won this at both the beginning and end of the decade and neither run was relevant
Bryan - Good run; even got a solid Bryan vs Ziggler match at Bragging Rights out of it
Sheamus - 2x champ. It really seemed like he was the go to guy when they lacked direction with the US title in both 2011 and 2014
Kofi - 2x champ. Neither run was of importance and only existed to give the strap to Ziggler and Ambrose.
Ziggler - 2x champ. One nice run that went nearly half the year in 2011, and one run in 2017 where Dolph simply said "Fuck it" and vacated the title after 2 days
Ryder - Arguably one of the best feel good title wins, only to have WWE book him like a joke forever afterwards
Swagger - lol
Santino - An even longer, more meaningless lol
Cesaro - I keep forgetting Cesaro won a singles title in WWE
Ambrose - Mainly remembered for its length and helped him stand out in Shield
Rusev - 3x champ. First two runs were solid back when Rusev was being booked worth a damn. Third reign was pretty forgettable.
Cena - 2x champ. The US Open challenge brought serious credibility back to the title again
Rollins - Just a temporary crutch in a feud with Cena that somehow included Jon Stewart
Del Rio - Completely out of nowhere; Del Rio's run would also include Zeb Coulter and a stable that was not getting over
Kalisto - Even more out of nowhere and forgettable
Reigns - Okay guys, winning the WWE title wasn't helping Reigns with fans, let's put a smaller belt on him!
Jericho - 2x champ. Him winning the belts was more memorable than his runs with either one.
Owens - 3x champ. First two runs were solely to begin writing Jericho off (and also because WWE scrapped Owens/Jericho for the Universal title in favor of Goldberg/Lesnar, so hey, here's this smaller belt!), third very brief run was solely to build up Owens vs Shane
Styles - 3x champ. AJ needed something to do in 2017 while WWE tried miserably to make us care about Jinder Mahal
Corbin - lol. His only highlights were beating Miz in a champ vs champ match and retaining against Styles
Roode - Forgettable
Orton - Hey let's make Randy a grand slam champ!
Jinder - WWE in 2018: "Jinder WILL be important on television!"
Jeff Hardy - WWE a week later: "On second thought, Jeff can have it"
Nakamura - 2x champ. For as long as he had the belt, I remember nothing
Samoa Joe - 2x champ. Shame this was the only belt he won on the main roster. At least he got to squash Mysterio
Rey - 2x champ. Neither run memorable
Ricochet - Only purpose was to bring the OC together again
Andrade - Won at the tail end of the decade, nothing memorable
