the tldr to powerlevelling soil stats in both 4 and 5 is just grow apples or other trees, who needs to know what stats do when they're all maxed

it's a bit more annoying in RF5 because trees take up all 4 slots, but eh

I quickly realized that soil levels really didn't matter for anything.

my excel obsession definitely helping me keep engaged with RF5 aww yeah. second screencap (ingredients list) is taken after I've crafted & removed the GOs in the first screencap.

GO = I've gotten enough resources of each ingredient in the recipe to cover every other recipe that needs it, which is the only point I start crafting

today i spent a couple in-game days just going through the checklist of what I need more of then at the end of the day clearing out the weapons that are ready to be crafted, then pruning the excel sheet for the next day

tomorrow is a typhoon tho and today was a holiday which blocked me from buying all the wetting powders I wanted :( note to self I need to buy ~50 tomorrow before as soon as shops open

also holy shit yes the Floor 20 chests gave me Tuna Teriyaki which means I only need 1 Tuna for shipping thank fucking god. and only 6 dishes left to go!

.... hrm. Winter 1 Day 4, the first time I've finished everything I want to do before in-game midnight. it's 7:58pm but the only weapon ingredients I need are boss items General's Orb & Rune Sphere Shard (and uh Autumn Grass I only today realized I never planted whoops)

and the only cuisine ingredients are from tag-team fishing (Golden Salmon + Marlin) and the Starfall crops...... *checks fishing shipment rates* welp that's 100% now... I guess I can get started on a pair of Accessories excel sheets

out of curiosity, does anyone else do the same thing i do and grow exactly 2 of each new seed so you can level up the seed and ship the fruit for completion asap

when I get a new seed I buy at least 12 (rounded for OCD) of them to grow together, gradually shipping one sickling the rest for the next level until I have a level 10

although I haven't been consistent so there's some seed I've neglected and too lazy to pinpoint

I always grow everything in 2x2 batches. I'll sickle one and ship/store the rest, then hope I remember to buy more of it later that day to replant. I do not always remember, and festival days certainly don't help.

i ordered a photobook and they sent me the wrong one. i told them and they said they would send the correct item. that was over a month ago so i asked about the status of my shipment like three days ago. well, i guess someone forgot to ship it back then but i got like three packages today and i think they just sent me literally one of everything they had of their inventory.

so although i never had any intention of owning items of this sort, i now own four wall scrolls, like 6 dakimakura covers and an oppai mousepad.

played around with that thingo u linked me and its 110% believable gmun. and thank god shield/sword seeds are on a third loot table. thats probably my biggest relief tbh

dunno how it originated but it feels like most of the regulars (and irregulars, like me) levitate towards rune factory. 4 and 5 are both amazing; 4 is perfection of what it is, and 5 tries to bring the whole damn system into 3d (and largely succeeds, but has some performance issues, but you might not care because the rest of the game is excellent)

imo try RF4S on switch or PC first. the performance is immaculate. the game isn't perfect, but it's still my favorite game of all time

RF5 is the same game as 4 but with growing pains trying to be 3d on the switch. i bought RF4 3 times (loved each run) so buying RF5 once was a no-brainer. RF5 is about to come out on steam which might fix the performance issues tho, so depending on your pc it might be worth waiting

tldr: both rf4 and rf5 are in my top 5 games of all time. pls love ludmilla in 5

at least it was fast when it appeared because i put a material box in heinz's shop

You get medals based on how much you ship of an item, and every item can have one. You have to ship a lot of an item to hit gold, and it's just a completely stupid ridiculous idea to gold medal the majority of items. They don't do anything, they're just something you can see when looking at the shipping list. Like sure you could do most crops and their cooked dishes, and you could do a bunch of crafted stuff with simple materials, but no one is gold medaling all the rare fish or their cooked dishes, or the crafted items with the rarest drops in the game.

The people that sent me all the shit are asking if I can help return the items so I asked what they want me to do since it was all opened. Because I don't want a situation where I have to pack everything, get it to the shipping place. No shipping label either and do they want me to pay for shipping in that case because fuck that.

But all they said was to contact shipping and say I never received the package and to take it back.
