yeah it sucks to have it narrowed down so much after the first guess and still miss it. looks like it was a 50/50 at that point, assuming you started with NOISE, POISE, or VOICE.

A friend introduced me to a game called Redactle, which is one of the many that really has little to do with Wordle. However, I've had more fun with it than most - it takes a random Wikipedia article (from an apparent list of 10,000 key articles) and redacts all but the most common words. Each guess fills in that word, and you win by guessing the article title.

I got my first one in 83 tries and I kinda want to talk about it. At first I thought "oh how stupid, so much is redacted you will never get this." Eventually I got onto a string of words that fit the bill - kingdom, genus, species, evolution though most of them were just fillers. Like once I realized Charles was in of course I filled a bunch of other blanks with Darwin. I'd like to see how much better I could do next time.
