My favorite is Colosseum but that's just because it's weird, different and it has that soundtrack. HG/SS probably takes it as far as more conventional Pokemon games go. Emerald has a decent claim to it. --- Still waiting on that third threat ... Copied to Clipboard!

Emerald and Crystal are both at the top for me, though HGSS is still a good one. I keep coming back to XY, but a part of that is because it feels so incomplete compared to all the other games, that I can't help wonder what we were going to get with the never-delivered "Z" version. It was good on its own tho. And the games are so expensive because basically every Nintendo game skyrockets in price once it stops being produced. ... Copied to Clipboard!
