I never quite got what the streak meant for people. There's no "log in" involved, it's all browser history (which can be wiped or altered).

if you know there are more possibilities than you have guesses, shouldn't you think of words that knock more than one possibility out at a time? that's what I did with FLAME (not that that was the best example of that necessarily) (I did get lucky with F though)

Hard mode forces you to use the letters you've unlocked. I would've had to turn hard mode off to make an elimination guess

Yeah it looks like many of us locked in 4 letters really early and with words that rhyme with a bunch of other words, that leads to trouble

I'm not a big fan of the themed ones; the word list is foreign to me. (There are language ones that aren't bad in training your brain to remember vocabulary in other languages; I'm curious about the the Chinese one based on idioms, but the phonic system just sounds too subjective.)
