Your probably better off if you die in the blast instead of trying to survive in what's left.
It'd be walking dead without zombies. Just people trying to take control and others trying to live normal.

Freedom of speech was last century. Today's people demand comfort.
The manipulation is strong with the people here, too many weak minds, always sleeping.

None of the people in charge actually want to watch the world burn.

Putin might.

All life on Earth will end when radioactive nuclear winter sets in. On that note, I'm sure there are rich powerful people in Russia that don't want to die so they might be forced to do something before things get too far out of control.

In a hypothetical that the US and Russia went all out with their nukes, everyone is screwed. Everyone.

There was a movie called threads in the 80s or early 90s. It was made about a town in I believe England and it ramped up to nuclear war and the aftermath over a few generations. It was a pretty rough movie but reported to be a pretty accurate representation. Very depressing.

The problem with The Day After is that it tried too much with the wonky nuke effects.

Which looked cool in 1983 for what they had to work with but looks silly now.

Movie also made everyone look like they were stupid.

By 1983 everyone knew what Nuclear Warfare was all about.

Also the movie ends The Day After instead of showing the after effects months or years later like Threads did.

I saw the trailer. Yikes.

Yeah, if you survive a nuclear war then be prepared for riots, thefts, fighting over food, etc.

It will truly be the Book of Revelation come to life.
