It's not exactly surprising, but the event isn't much different from ranked, except with a lot more bricks or virtual bricks. I expect some people will run afoul of the variance a bit too often and get mighty irritated.

ok nvm I'm not sure I hate this event that much anymore - I mean I do, but the one game I played went well

I played with the Rokket loaner against a Plunder Patrol guy who had like six royal rares and nuked his board twice with various effects until he surrendered. Got a lot of mission progress, too (10 special summons, which I'm pretty sure Scapegoat counts as four for and 9 cards destroyed). He Lightning Storm'd my Mirror Force Launcher at the start of his furst turn, so he knew I had a Mirror Force set the whole time and just couldn't out it and couldn't attack because I also had the Launcher to bring it back every turn if he did

I need to learn what the deck actually does beyond "press buttons to spam monsters that inevitably blow stuff up" though.

I am running a bird/tribrigade/Luna light deck for the event

Is it good? No. But I could do it without crafting anything

You probably know this already, but if you're fighting Swordsoul and have a quick effect pop, do make sure you aim for the token. Just won a game I should have lost horrifically because someone couldn't help but activate their DPE as quickly as possible on Mo Ye and let me go off with Tenyi activations.

I also strongly recommend you do not flip Baronne face-down if your opponent is in a position to immediately Flip Summon, unless you want to give them both of their abilities back. Although, on the flip side, now I want to find a way to Set my own Baronne. It feels good.

My random nonsense tribute summon deck is not bricking quite as often as I would've thought.

I'm not picking up a huge number of wins with it, but I can at least get to 50 normal summons (Currently at 40) then go back to the rokket loaner to actually win games

I have:
1) 9997 gems
2) Every single mission from the Limit 1 event completed and unclaimed
3) About 400 gems worth of Daily/Lifetime missions unclaimed
4) About 3250 gems in my gift box expiring no sooner than the 16th of July
5) 700 gems worth of rank ups that I'll be getting over the next week (From Silver 3 to Gold 1)

I think, if the gift box gems start expiring and Floowandereeze aren't out yet, I start pulling from the Harpy pack (Since I want Storm and haven't actually crafted a copy of Duster). What's the most broadly usable SR to craft there? Looking over the list, it's gotta be Icarus Attack, right? That's the only one that's not directly tied to the archetype

I could finish other decks instead but nah...
